Martha has been sick with a cold and has a sore throat. Her doctor recommended that she rest, keep hydrated, and sip warm liquids, like tea, to soothe her sore throat. Her little brother, Jay, who is always trying to be helpful made her some tea, some real hot tea! If the temperature of the tea Jay made was 172℉, what would be its final temperature if it was left standing for 10 minutes in a room where the surrounding temperature is 76℉? Use Newton’s Law of Cooling as given above with constant k = 0.03.
