m-audio firewire 410 recording issue?
hi, in trying to record audio, it only records to the right channel. i know that i could easily duplicate the track to the left channel, but that would be mono and i want stereo. it just isn't the same as recording to both channels simultaneously.
i'm running the m-box through a Mackie 1202-VLZ3 mixer (both of which are in phantom power), which for some reason doesn't pick up audio signal. i only use it for the master volume. i'm also using an AKG mic with a Stedman Proscreen XL stopper/plosive.
i'm collaborating with a vocalist a tomorrow, so i'll need an answer as soon as possible :)
additional information: i'm running all this through my Mixcraft Pro Studio DAW.
thanks guys, hope you can help! :)

1 AnswerMusic & Music Players8 years agoi have a question about orbiting objects.?
for planets and objects to stay in orbit with other objects, they have to complete an orbit not too slow, otherwise they'll crash into their parent object, and not too fast, otherwise they'll get flung outwards. basically their orbital velocity has to be roughly the same as their parent object's gravity.
let's take mars, its distance from the sun is 1.52 astronomical units, or 1.52 times the distance from the sun as the earth is. but, its year/orbital period is longer than its distance from the sun, nearly twice that of earth's year (1.9 earth years). in the case of mars, its orbital velocity is different than the sun's gravity, relatively.
is this because mars has an irregular/elliptical orbit? or why is this?
thanks!

2 AnswersAstronomy & Space8 years agoHow do I gain weight?
i'm 13 years old and naturally skinny. i weigh about 80 pounds and i'm 5'3. i eat a lot but i often eat breakfast late--i have a really bizarre sleeping schedule.
i find my size somewhat embarrassing in reality, which is why i want to gain weight. is it unhealthy to be too skinny? are there any vitamins i could take or things i could do to get rid of my skinniness?
thank you! :)

6 AnswersDiet & Fitness8 years agodoes the mass, or gravitational pull of an object get stronger as it becomes more dense?
let's take a human that weighs 150lbs. if you were collect all the atoms, cells the human has and compress it to about a nanometer, would that mass still weigh 150lbs? or would it become heavier, or lighter? and why?
