Two weeks ago I saw a couple of tiny whitish insects crawling around on the fretboard of my guitar, which I killed with tissue. I haven't had any other problems for about two weeks but I just saw a few again and it's really worrying me because I don't want anything to happen. My biggest worry is that they're nesting inside the soundhole or something.

I don't see any holes on the fretboard that look like they'd come from wood-boring insects, but I still want to be able to get rid of them.

I don't think they're termites, because I live on the 28th floor of a building and I haven't seen any in my house before.

Things I'm currently considering doing are:

- airing it for a few days (I usually keep it in a fur-lined guitar case, going to air that too)

- removing the strings and cleaning around inside the soundhole with a brush

- keeping it in with some mothballs or spices for a few days

- even put insect repellent or something inside if I get desperate

I'm looking for insect spray too.

I want to try and contact an exterminator too, but I'm not sure what they could do.

Any advice would be terrific, I absolutely couldn't stand if anything were to happen to my guitar.

I have a Windows 7, and Skype is trying to update to Skype 5.10, and it's labelled as an "Important Update. The thing is, when I do update to Skype 5.10, it doesn't work - I don't see a sign-in screen or anything. It's just a blue page with "Skype" written in it and there's a rainbow.

Windows won't let me switch off the computer unless I update to Skype 5.10 because it's an Important update, so is there anyway I can reject the important update, or fix my problem with Skype 5.10?

I'm playing the song Scar Tissue for something soon and I want to improvise the solo but I don't know what key it's in or which scale I use to improvise.

Before, if I typed a phrase into my URL bar on Firefox, it would instantly come up as a Google search for that, but one day when I tried, it was Yahoo instead. How do I change it back? I've made sure the search bar was on Google and everything, but searching in the URL bar just led it to a Yahoo search.

When I was younger we used to buy them often, but we looked in a few places today and couldn't find them.

There's this kind of fly in my house, I don't think it's very uncommon, as I've seen them before, but I don't know what they are. It looks like a dragonfly with legs sticking out the sides with more transparent wings, and it's about the size of a dragonfly too. Does anyone know what it is? And if yes, could you please give me its life span in the adult stage too?

I tried to get an app on iTunes, and it said "Click OK to confirm you're over 17". I accidentally clicked it, meaning to click "Cancel"... is there any way of changing it back?

I'm doing a project on Joseph Dawson from the Titanic for History, and I found out that there's a documentary about him from Discovery Channel. I Googled it but I couldn't find anything.

A few minutes ago, it was all completely normal, but now my quotation marks key gives me the @ sign and my at key gives me the quotation marks. How do I switch them back?

I have a hp dm4-1060us, operating system is Windows 7.

It keeps updating. When I shut down, every now and then it installs updates and then it shuts down, but there are usually loads of updates and it takes a while - and last time it got stuck and I had to manually shut it down.

Does anyone know what's happening, and can someone tell me how to switch it off and manually run the updates when I want to?

For school next year, guitar is an option, but it's classical guitar and I wanted to know if it'll be a different type of music to the type of music you'd play if you were taking a regular acoustic class.

What could n be? There are 3 possible values - give them all.

I was downloading some stuff (yes, it WAS all legal) and at one point my computer set itself to saving the files automatically, rather than asking me whether I wanted to open it or not. When I go to Tools > Options > Downloads, it's still set to "Always ask me where to save files", but it doesn't ask me - it just automatically saves to my desktop.

I use Firefox.

Can anyone help?

For a school music project, I need to learn Snow (Hey Oh) by the Red Hot Chili Peppers on bass. I know the bassline and everything, but I've never played a bass (properly) before, and I need to learn it in four weeks. My brother is pretty good with bass, he says I won't be able to learn it in four weeks but he's going to try and teach me anyway - do you think I could learn it?

When I say I've never played one properly, I mean that I tried but I failed quite terribly.

I've heard his name was "John" somewhere, and somewhere else I heard it was "Joseph", but he never mentions a middle name in Scar Tissue.

Does anyone know?
