I got both at yardsales last summer for $4 each. I know the CX7430 is older. I like it better than the C433 battiers seem to last longer to and easier for me to use.

I got a Southbend classic 4 rod 6'6" with the numbers 1-246-266 near the handle. Got at a yard sale last year still has the stickers on it one says all new ferrule flex design. The sticker on the handle has the guarante and price of $38.00. Looks like it was never used. Not asking what it's worth just like to know about how old.

I got a spinnpng reel that is hard to turn. I loosen the roto nut an it turns good but is hard to turn when I tighten the nut. Is the nut suppost to be a little loose.

What fishing item rod reel lure any thing that when you bought it you tought it to be a rip off after buying it but surprised you when you used it.

Looking at a 91 tracker. When I drove it it went to 2nd gear ok but when it was going into 3rd nothing the motor just winds out. I stopped and started it it a few times than it started going into 3rd ok. Is the trans shot?

My mom gave me a 210lr reel and a rod that was my dads. I took it home cleaned it up works good. My dad passed away 11 years ago. I was just trying to see if they were good reels or not and about how old he got back some what into fishing in the mid 80's Not planning to use it just going to put it in my den.

I am a small time fisherman. I can't afford new top of the line rod and reels. I get mine form yard sales. my friends flea market booth or a few given to me. Seems like most people who answer most of the time has money to buy nothing but new gear. My reel haven't felled me yet and the ones I have I like a lot.

A friend gave me a old Daiwa mini cast1 reel. I cleaned it up good seems to work but I can't read what line is best to use on it. Would like to try it out for bluegill. It is actually an old kmart sport fisher combo.

I have a Mitchell 300 not a real old one it's make in Taiwan and a old Daiwa 1500c. The Mitchell I got at a yard sale for $3 looks new. The Daiwa was given to me look pretty good not as good as the Mitchell. Would like to know which is the better reel. Thinking about using them some this year.

I have a low profile Ambassadeur 1003LP on a 7' fast action St.Croix rod.I got it for $20 at a yard sell like new. I am looking for a Rhino bait casing reel. I would like to know which is better low profile or round bait casting reels. Also does anyone have any thing to say about Rhino bait casters. I have a Rnino rsc3 for my wife and I use most of the time my Rhino RSP3

What is good to put on foam handles to keep them from dry rotting? I have a good Rhino rod that was giving to me but the handle is getting real hard.

I was given a box of old reels. Most were Zebco 202's. There was a Viking F-120 and a old K-Mart reel. I got both working but would like to know who made them. and about how old the Viking may be.
