I am also looking for LOOSE GEMSTONES, including cabachons, and small crystals and crystal clusters which can be used for making jewelry, especially WIRE -WRAPPED JEWELRY.

What is the best place to find FINE MINERALS and MINERAL SPECIMENS in NEW YORK CITY (NYC)? The Museum of Natural History has so many beautiful crystals, rocks and minerals on view, but their gift shop did not offer a very wide selection. On-line shopping just isn't real enough (you can't TOUCH them), and metaphysical stores in NYC seem to just carry a few tumbled stones and small crystals and clusters.
