  • Can I connect Blackberry Bold to wifi without data plan?

    Does anyone know if I can connect the Blackberry Bold to the internet via wifi, by connecting it to my router, friends router, or any available networks, without subscribing to a data plan? AT&T charges $30 a month for 2 yrs, without the ability to cancel, even if you are going to access the internet via wifi, which should be free of charge since they are not through AT&T. I don't want to pay for anything extra, I only have voice call enabled, no text messaging and no internet, not even internet pay per use, which costs a lot. I would like to connect to my home wireless network of which I'm already paying for. Any ideas?
