The world hates America because they are jealous. As childish a reason that sounds it is true. America is in a position where we can help people by using our assets and the rest of the planet feels a need to bash us to make us look bad because of it. But without America as the worlds watchdog every psycho ****** would invade every other psycho ******. Say what you will about my country, but when yours is in trouble who do you turn to? The only people with the power and ability to do anything about it. Yes America has it's problems too, but that is just something we will have to work on as well. Nothing is perfect.... What's your take of why the world is displeased with America?

The govt. is doing things now that are the same things the founding fathers revolted against. I think that the President needs to take the Declaration of Independance and read it in front of Congress for them all to see that they have become what we have fought for so long and oppressive govt. with minimal freedoms. (if even)
