My mother started dating a man in February 2014. He seemed layback at first, but then he started showing obsessive and possessive traits. Such as calling my mother non-stop, constantly texting her and even becoming jealous of other men approaching her, even male family members and female friends.

I'm posting this question, because after those incidents I do not want that man in my home or with my mom. My mom and I are constantly arguing because I do not let him in our home. I'm 22 years old and I contribute in my household immensely. I think that it is absolutely unfair for me to contribute in my home and have unwanted guests in here. My mom and I aren't practically speaking because I do not accept him in our home.

I spent Xmas Eve and New Year's in my house alone, because my mom preferred to spend it with him, which hurt me.

I must let this be known though, according to my mom, he has never physically or verbally abused her. But we must recognize that this are early factors of a progressive domestic violence relationship. She simply justifies his actions like every women victim of domestic violence. He lives with his mother, does not go out with his friends and rarely spends time with his children. His whole life revolves around my mom, which is unhealthy.

Right now, my mom and I are not speaking and the tension in this household is driving me crazy. Am I doing the right thing? Thank you!

This morning I paid my first amount online and it still says that it's pending. I'm freaking out because I want to begin paying this correctly. I sent them an email and I have not received a response.

Is this normal? Does it take time for them to receive the payment?

I'm currently in my 2nd year of college and I feel that I have no hope at all in achieving my goals. At first I wanted to be a lawyer but now I just don't know now. I'm doing my degree on Criminal Justice and by far I have had 3 A's, 7 B's, 3 C's, and 1 D. I'm now studying for my finals and I now it will be a waste of time because I will fail.

I know I'm smart. I'm an active reader, I like to educate myself through documentaries, books, film and more. But I just feel that having "brains" don't help me at all. The pressure from my parents doesn't help either. I feel like a disappointment to them. I feel suicidal and depressed and just confused about my life and its future!

Do I really have a chance in becoming a better and productive human being? NO RUDE OR IGNORANT ANSWERS PLZ!

My friend told me that I look kinda whorish in these piks. The first one was just to mess around in the mall and have a laugh with the mannequin. The second one she says that I show "cleavage"!!! Compared to other photos that some other girls have I look freakin DECENT!!!

When I date guys and the sex topic comes in I proudly say that I'm a virgin. They act VERY surprised. They tell me that its very rare to find a girl like this. I'm a virgin because I chose to be one. I'm an atheist so its got nothing to do with religion. Just STD's and pregnancy.

But what I really want to know is if guys are really into virgins? Is it because of the pleasure of being their first or because their STD free!

I had an argument with someone who told me she looked more like Ozzy but I had to disagree. In my opinion she looks more like Sharon Osbourne. She is their first daughter by the way.

I have to create a presentation regarding a scene in a story. It doesnt have to be BIG but not small u know. Im not the most creative person thats why im asking XD. We have to present the scene, but idk how, we need to add music, lights, camera u know to describe the scene. Im writing it down, but idk how to PRESENT it. HELPPPPP

ok the thing is that we were BFF, but she changed alot by even flirting with the guy who I liked and thats when I ended our friendship. During the summer she never called me and one day me and my friends went to swim in a river near by and she called me because she was pissed that I didnt invite her. Tomorrow I will see her due to a birthday of a friend of mine, were going to the movies and she will be there.

ok the thing is that recently I've been going out more, with my friends we go to the movies, chill at the pool or even meet at each others house to just hang. But my parents dont want me home so late and my friends live LESS than min from my house. Yesterdat I was at my friends house just watching Miyasaki films (I luv em heh heh) and my mom called me screaming. When I got home she tried to hit me but I stopped her and now my parents arent even letting me out again.

Im 17 yrs old, Im going to start college, I should have more independence. Many ppl from my skool do worst stuff than me, they smoke pot, they drink and they have sex. Im proud to admit that I dont any of that stuff. I do innocent things, but now im starting to get the impression that because of my "innocence" they dont let me out.

They werent even like that before, suddenly they started acting like control freaks, they just want me locked up.

Who u think is correct in this conflict? I have even talked to them,but they just dont comprehend me.

I say Ozzy all the way, he snorted ants, bit the head off a bat (which can be lethal to your body to their blood), he had the bike incident, which he died twice. I mean how indestructible can you get by dying twice and surviving and he was drug and alcohol addict.

I just got so pissed that Keith Richards won, he is a legend in the music industry (like ozzy), but ozzy is a survivor!!!

Im reading it for school and I really dont enjoy. Morrie thinks he knows alot of death just because he has a terminal disease and also thinks that he knows the meaning of life. In the book he says that he doesnt take self pity upon himself but in a way I think he does. I get annoyed when he tells people that he is dying I consider it a way to gain attention. I mean at first I felt sorry for him but when I continued reading I changed my point of view.

I recently had an argument with my teacher about this and she just doesnt respect my opinion. But I want to know what other people think.
