  • What is the best chicken marinade for a taco? In Chicago there is El Famous Burrito, does anyone know ...?

their recipe? They also have a killer pork recipe. The chicken is like a chicken paste, it's not annatto seeds or anything like that. I would like to know of this chicken taco marinade as I am in Taiwan and there is nothing close to good mexican food. (there is a Chipotle knock off but its just not the same) Someone help! It's hard to find tortilla chips, tortilla shells so I will need to make those as well, but first and foremost that chicken taco recipe that El Famous has is phenomenal!

  • What should I do about these new property taxes?

My escrow payment alone is double my mortgage. When I got the place I was paying 900 a month taxes, mortgage etc. PMI was lifted and it went down to 815. I received notice last year that my payment jumped up to 1100 because of the new taxes(that was last year) I just saw that my property was re-evaluated and the taxes adjusted. My escrow payment alone is 940!!!! My total payment is 1500$!! I have been renting my place out as I have lived abroad the last year and a half. From what the situation looks like there is no way I can return and not be torn apart by taxes. I have never been late on any payments and I have good credit, but I am seriously thinking about 'walking away' from the property. I've rented it out but even with the renters I am losing big money! I don't want to walk away from the property as it was an investment.. but its going to make me bankrupt... and there is no saying that housing values will bounce back (or even if people can buy anything) It's not an expensive place.

I don't need to live in the place so the only practical thing to do is get out of it, with no one able to buy especially with these insane taxes (thanks Todd Stroeger) there is no way out that I can see. What can I do?

  • How can I deal with the fear of loss/detachment and anxiety?

I have an issue with always fretting over bills and thinking that the worst case scenario will play out. I think that I will always have the most negative scenario play out for me. I also have an issue with the fear of loss. I remember when I was a kid I had my first job I was always afraid that I was going to be fired. Most of the jobs I have had I always felt I was about to be fired. (even though I am a good worker and had superiors assure me I was ok)

When I would get in trouble as a teenager, my mom would plant the worst outcome in my head and made sure that I would stress over it as much as possible. (perhaps reinforcing it more)

Some how these issues seem to be connected for me. I know the summary is brief but I'm not sure what else to include. What could all of this come down to and what are some things I can do to help myself? Is there a general diagnosis for something like this?

  • Scam or a real business?

I am looking for a job in marketing.. and I have seen some names I recognize and some I don't.. I am doing a ride along with a company to experience what they do.. part of there management training program.. There ad, describes it as a career in Marketing, sports and entertainment. Where they take there clients free promos.. and I guess its up to a Rep. to sell them.. Does this sound like anything you have ever heard of? Like door to door soliciting... Let me know what you think. There interview process is a little suspect as well.. maybe Im being paranoid (after all, Im asking the internet for advice!)

  • Why do we care about Britney Spears?

I dont understand.. why the infactuation? what has she done?!?!? she's not even a real musician, not a role model, not a fashion model. These shows on TV on "News" is disgusting! Its like childish finger pointing.. like pay attention to someone so no one pays attention to all the bad/embarrsing things in my life. I will try my hardest to ignore this person.. we should be highlighting people that will help man-kind. Why do idiots have such power in the media?

  • If Huckabee is broke, and can't raise any money.. Fred Thompson is out.. Ron Paul is in it becuase.....?

He's a cash raising machine! Will he around by default? and is his cash raising abilities evidence that (a lot of) people want Ron Paul in the White house? Seems he's not so popular with the media but I don't think they can ignore him much longer.

  • I was involved in an accident at a martial arts training facility in August.... what kind of case do I have???

I have had about 1 year of experience prior.. but was not training before going to this facility for about 3 months. It was my very first day at this new facility.. We were about an hour and 15 minutes into the training session (15 minutes into grappling portion) There were no employees or instructors present.. the person in charge of the class claimed to have been there for 4 years.. (employee..???) We were doing some drilling when he picked me out to grapple with him.. He was over aggressive, especially for his skill level and it being my first day. He had given specific instructions about the drill we were doing (don't go for submissions, start off on and remain on your knees)..when he went against me, he stood up, and fell onto me drilling shoulder into the ground, which btw, were not intended for martial arts, they were slippery, and hard. I did sign a waiver, but from the situation, the club violated there own policy and proper training ettiquette, what kind of case do I have?

  • I had a nasty clavicle break in August, when would you go back into Jui Jitsu/Grappling/Wreslting?

Ive started to hit the bags again and practicing Muay Thai, but Im not sure about grappling.. I needed two surgeries to correct the break.. its still numb in some spots.. but I'm going crazy just sitting around and thinking about and not being able to do it like I was.

  • Another Ron Paul question concerning the Media?

is it me or is the media really pushing for a candidate they want to see win? There is virtually no coverage of him. Ron Pauls ideas are very different from any other candidate out there, which I feel should warrant some coverage. Not just mockery saying that Paul supporters are internet geeks or people that wear tin foil helmets. I think the main reason why Ron Paul is an internet phenom is because its the only place to read about his stances. Does anyone else feel the same, or can give some incite?

side note: he is the only politician, to me, that has actually made sense! Give the government back to the people instead of having the american people work for the government (would be his biggest point and most people dont understand or are scared of)
