  • What is a good song to put to a tribute video?

What is a good song to put to a tribute video? My brother was a race car driver and we just had a tribute race for him. I want to put a tribute video together of pictures of him in the past and lead up until present. The tribute also include our Uncle who was also a race car driver and was my brother's inspiration to race, we had a tribute look a like car for my Uncle at my brother's tribute race. In addition, Dale Earnhardt also was a huge inspiration for my brother. My brother passed away in October of 2008 and we host a tribute race every year for him!

  • Songs about moving on in life and living it to the fullest.?

In 2004 I lost my mom to Liver Cancer.

In 2007 my father passed away due to colon cancer.

In 2008 my brother passed away because of complications of diabetes medicine mixed with a sleeping medicine.

We were a close family and had a racing team. Racing fuel ran through our veins and it was a huge part of us. I gave up on it after all their deaths...

Recently I have joined up with a new team that I sponsor. They have a tribute to my brother and our racing team on the hood. They are also using our numbers.

I have fully embraced this new chance at life. I am having the best time of my life in years and I am looking for a song to describe how I am living life to the fullest and they don't have to worry about me not carrying on... :)

  • We are having a fund raiser for breast cancer awareness, does anyone know how to find a jail?

We are having a fund raiser for breast cancer awareness, does anyone know how to find a jail?

I know many charity organizations do it, but does anyone know how it works?

We would like to rent the jail, and have people participate in the event. Where people get arrested, and are put in this jail. Then people raise money to 'bail' them out.

    Any ideas, thoughts or suggestions.

We are in the Chicagoland, Illinois area.

    Thanks for any help!!!

  • What would you have done?

I have a friend whom I have known since Junior High School. He has fallen on hard times, and is back living with his parents. We are both 30 something! He lives directly across the street from me. My wife and I own our own house, and have a largelot for the city.

I have been trying to help him out, and pay him for doing odd jobs around my house. I have a disability, so there are many things I can't do, so it really was a good fit, or so I thought.

My truck (Ford F250) was in need of detailing. I generally can get it fully detailed for around $70 with tip. This includes the carpet cleaned and shampoo, the inside armor all'd, and a complete wash and wax.

Well, I told him if he cleaned and detailed my truck, using my stuff, I would give him $50 dollars. The day before he was going to detail it, he complained the truck was too big to do the outside. So I told him if he did the inside of both my trucks, (the other is a beater ford f150 used strictly for our dogs to ride in, and needs a good cleaning in the inside).....I would give him $60 for cleaning the inside only of both the trucks. He agreed.

Well he was two hours late to show up for the work. He completely detailed the inside of my ford 250 truck. He did not use the shampoo cleaner, just vaccum cleaner. He used armor all, and he did make it look pretty good. I gave him $30 for that truck and expected him to start on the other one. He stated that he was leaving for his sisters. Then he told me I owed him another $20 for detailing the big truck. I said that wasn't we agreed to. He got very confrontational, so I handed him the $20, wished him luck.

I am very Po;d. I have helped him so many times, when he needed money, and I have given him these odd jobs, even when money was tight our way.

I also found out he was hitting the 'bottle' while he was working, as I found it in the back of my truck bed.

I have known him since high school, and we have always been good friends. I feel like he really pushed our friendship to the limits over $20. I wasn't going to argue with him, though I was at the verge of going 'postal' on him.

I don't plan on giving him anymore work, nor do I plan on contacting him, unless he makes things right.

What would you have done? Thanks for any help in advance!
