Why would a straight buddy say something like this?
I was messing around with a coworker today by text, we were talking about fighting. I said to him, "I could take you." His response was "To dinner or lunch maybe"
4 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender6 years agoWhich masters degree do you think would be the best option?
I am currently pursuing a masters degree and I'm torn between two majors. I work for a major energy company and want a degree that's versatile, that would apply to many different jobs out there. Also, if anything ever happened to my job, I want to make sure my masters degree would be beneficial elsewhere.
I'm in supply chain (transportation) and am considering either a Masters in Project management with a focus in Supply Chain or a Masters in Supply Chain with a focus in Logistics. Any advice?

I was at work and my coworker walks in the door. He looks at me, taps the center of his chest twice with his pointer and middle finger. Then he points to his eyes. What does this mean?
1 AnswerSingles & Dating6 years agoWhy are the guys at work calling me ugly? Im confused.?
I'm a straight guy who is a little bothered by other straight guys at work. A couple of them have called me ugly and it confuses me. I've been called good-looking, handsome, etc. so this throws me off. I overheard another guy at work today calling me ugly and then laughing.
The weird thing is, both of the guys that have called me this are old and overweight (in their 60s). I'm like 30 years younger than they are... Not that I care what another guy looks like, but neither are attractive. Can someone shed some light on this? Any opinions?
3 AnswersSingles & Dating6 years agoCan someone give me some advice? What was he getting at and why would he say this?
A co-worker of mine sent me a text to ask me a question about work. Before he asked the question his text was, "Hey ******". First of all, I hate that word.... so please don't get offended..... He also told me another time that he went to a gay bar in the past. When I told him I've been to one before too he says he actually never went to one. Then he said "I know you didn't go by yourself" What is the point of this? Why would he tell me he went to one and then when I say I've been he changes his story? What's up with the "******" text?
2 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender7 years agoI think a co-worker is closet gay and likes me?
There's this guy I work with. He's very masculine and has a girlfriend. I've noticed that the eye contact seems to linger between us. Let's face it, straight guys don't look at each other for seconds like that. I just keep getting this feeling. I said hello to him the other morning and he said hello back and started to go inside of our building. He stopped and quickly turned his head back at me and stared into my eyes for about 3-4 seconds with a smile, then turned back around and went inside. Also, out of the blue one day, we were texting and he told me that he went to a gay bar once - which I thought was kind of odd to bring up considering we barely knew each other at the time.
But it's like dealing with night and day. Later the same day he comes back and I start talking to him. He can barely look me in the eye, it's like he was scared to make eye contact. I ask him what he's doing over the weekend and he said he had plans with his girl. This is very confusing. The thing is, I care about the guy a lot (as a friend) and want to really know who he is. He's a great person. Can anyone out there make sense of all this - because I can't.
1 AnswerSingles & Dating7 years agoDoes this "straight" guy like me?
There's this guy that I've had a thing for, for a while now. The thing is, I do have a girlfriend so he probably thinks I'm straight. He also has a girlfriend that he lives with, which makes this even more confusing. He mentioned to me one time out of the blue that he's been to a gay bar before. I've also noticed extended gazing when we talk. As he was walking up to me this morning, I said hello and he spoke back. He began to walk inside when he suddenly stopped in his tracks, jerked his head around toward me and just stared with a little smile on his face. I smiled back at him and he went inside. Lasted all of a few seconds. I don't want to read too much into anything, but are you guys thinking what Im thinking? Wasn't that kinda obvious?

7 AnswersYahoo Answers7 years agoMy boss has a problem with my email....?
So, I'm having an issue at work with my boss. I'm not sure if it's just knit-picking or my email really came across this way. In my position, there seems to be many problems with miscommunication or simply lack of communication completely. When this happens, it causes me a lot of stress on my end to fix something that could've gone smoothly if just certain information were communicated in the first place. I wanted to avoid more confusion so I sent an email to a certain area saying ...
"Im assuming none of these areas need special security clearance since we were not informed of anything."
He replied to my email and said it was sarcastic. Really, I didn't mean to be.... What do you guys think?
3 AnswersCorporations7 years agoWhat would you think if this happened to you?
I was in my cubicle at work looking at something on my wall. I was bent over somewhat, not all the way. My back was turned to the entrance of my cubicle and I didn't hear anyone walk in. When I turned around, one of my male coworkers was standing there. He immediately had this look on his face like he was scared (eyes got bigger and did this thing with his mouth). He then jumped really fast into the chair beside him and started laughing. What should I think of this? Any ideas of what this could've been? What would you think if this happened to you?
By the way - I AM ALSO A DUDE!!
2 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender7 years agoWas this guy at work checking me out?
I was at work today and I was bent over looking at a map. I heard someone walking up behind me but didn't pay too much attention to it because I was trying to find a certain location. I looked for a couple of minutes and then turned around to see if anyone was in my cubicle. When I turned around there was one of my MALE coworkers just standing there, made this look on his face like "oh ****" and he hurried up and sat down in the chair in my cubicle right beside him (like he was sitting there all along). He just started laughing..... Did I catch this dude checking me out? I know he has a girl and a baby.

1 AnswerSingles & Dating7 years agoAm I reading too much into this?
I dont think Im an unattractive guy, been called handsome quite a bit. I recently started dating this girl and things are going very well. I was telling a couple of people at work and they both said... "Good for you, everyone deserves someone". What are they saying? Am I reading too much into this?

I work with a supposed straight guy who has a girlfriend and a child. Ive been noticing a lot lately that he rarely will look into my eyes and when he does he turns beat red. He definitely is blushing for something. What could this mean? Any ideas?
2 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender8 years agowhy is he like this with me?
Theres this guy who I work with who Im 99% sure is straight. He has a girlfriend and a child. When he comes into my cubicle there is most always a lack of eye contact and when we talk he blushes....his whole face lights up red. Kinda makes me feel uncomfortable. I always figured when there is a lack of eye contact and blushing that means someone likes you....but again, this is a guy Im talking about. Any idea??
1 AnswerSingles & Dating8 years agoNot sure why this bothers me so much?
Im a guy and another male coworker was joking around about gay stuff. We are both straight. My coworker says to me, "I'll pass on you... you're too ugly" Not that I want another guy but the comment did bother me. Was this a joke or could he have been serious?

3 AnswersFriends8 years agoWhat did he mean by that?
I was talking about my girlfriend with a buddy of mine at work. He always asks if we're still together and if we're moving in with each other and hes never even met her. Today I was telling him about her promotion. I told him she now makes twice as much as I do. He says "What does she want with you then?" He started laughing and walked away. Any idea what this means? I may not be a male model but Ive seen much worse than me. What could he have meant by that comment??
