So I am 19, live on my own and need a newer car. My car just **** the bed and I need a new one. I pay about 375 a month in rent, and I make 1500 a month. I havent saved much money (about 600 bucks). How can I get a car loan with no parental help?

So, over a month ago there were 3 people in my dorm. 2 of them decided to smoke pot in there. Hours later we got a knock at the door and there were 4 people, 3 RA's and Campus Security NOT POLICE. They asked a kid who does not live in the room if they could search "The closet, and drawers." nothing else. The kid said yes and asked us to step outside. They found a prescription bottle of my friends, opened it and found a marijuana stem. They also decided to search our personal items like my bookbag and found a few containers of alcohol. Three days later I find out I'm being charged legally for possession of alcohol by a minor. Also a few weeks later a cop comes to my dorm and I let him in, and he started asking me questions. I was clearly scared and he kept asking questions, basically interrogating me without telling me my rights. So I have court now and in maine it's a civil case but in violation of state laws. I never received the names of those who searched us nor know who they are.

I have a few questions: (I live in Maine)

1) Is it a legal search because it was third party consent, also they searched my personal items without permission?

2) Is it an illegal interrogation because I was never read my Miranda Rights?

3) Do I have any legal rights here, do you feel like I can get my case thrown out? ANY ADVICE WILL HELP.

I'm selling my first car, a 1996 Buick Riviera. It has 173,000 miles, but I replaced the engine last summer and the new engine has only 65,000 at the moment. At 173,000 the car books for 2,370. At 65,000 it books for 3,870. It is the same engine, literally taken out of another 1996 Riv. I was wondering how much value it adds to. Thank you!

I have a landline, but not a plan. I have cable, cable internet, and cell phones but I still have the outlets and everything for a normal phone. Can I still get Xbox Live or do I need anything special!? Thank you

I got about $170. I want to get a newish Xbox 360, Modern Warfare, and Xbox live for a year. One, is this possible, and two, how should I go about this. I went to Ebay and there wasn't a whole lot. But how much SHOULD it be to get a Xbox, Modern Warfare, and Xbox live for a year. THANK YOU!!!!
