  • Could we eliminate running mates?

Tell me why this idea wouldn't work. Instead of choosing running mates, presidential candidates run alone, then the top vote getter becomes President and the 2nd place vote getter is the VP. Wouldn't this force the 2 parties to work together to overcome their idiotic differences for the greater good of the country? I realize this seems a little idealistic, but we know this whole 2 party system is more ineffectual than anyone is willing to admit. Tell what you think of this idea.

  • President Bush, can I ask you a question?

George: I know you hang out on Y/A a lot during the day, (I saw it on Fox news so it HAS to be true!) so I wanted to ask you a question. As of today; the Dow Jones Industrial has lost 7 Trillion dollars in 1 year;the price of a gallon of gas has more than doubled since you took office;the mastermind behind the 9/11 attacks has gone completely unpunished, you lied to the American people so they would support your war, and the US economy has been virtually decimated. So my question to you is this: Is there anything else you plan on screwing up big time before you leave office in the next few months?

You will undoubtedly, and deservedly, go down in history as the worst President ever, but I was just wondering if you have one more trick up your sleeve to cement the deal.

    I eagerly await your answer.

  • Por-15 partial on my truck frame?

I want to paint my truck's frame with por-15 before winter hits, but I don't have the means to separate the chassis from the frame. If I coat all the exposed parts of the frame, but not the top that the chassis sits on, am I wasting my time and money or will this still help me prevent rusting for many years? Thanks for your opinions.

  • Do mexicans really drink Corona beer?

Most everyone I know hates that stuff and honestly most Mexicans I know drink Bud. Or at least Pacifico or Tecate, but I've never seen 'em drinking a Corona.....yet Americans relate that 'beer' to all that is Mexican, thanks to a wonderful ad campaign....I imagine with Cinco De Mayo coming up they will sell tons of this swill. Just curious to hear your thoughts.

    Thanks!

  • When did 'we' start Calling it World War I?

At what point during or after the First World War, did it become referred to as 'WWI'? Likewise did the second war immediately become 'WWII' or was it only called that sometime after the war ended? I realize there probably aren't too many folks on YA old enough to remember, but I'm hoping there are some Historians here who can satisfy my curiosity. Thanks!

  • Which Defense should I start this Sunday?

I'm debating which Defense to play this weekend. Either the Jaguars or the Vikings. The Vikes had a huge day last Sunday (I didn't play em-doh!) and they play the Lions this week. The Jags D did pretty good, and they play the Falcons Sunday. So I'm basically trying to decide who has the weaker offense Detroit or Atlanta....I'm thinking the Vikings will have a tougher time against the Lions than the Jags will against the Falcons, so I'm inclined to play the Jags. Just curious what you experts think. Thanks!

My neighbors dog won't stop barking and I was hoping the "superstar QB" could come over and put a bullet in it's head.

  • How many more innocent children will be killed for sport by the psychopaths of this country?

Before our lawmakers impose proper penalties to deter them?

When they convict that guy in Kansas he should be locked in a room with the girl's Father and the father should be allowed to do whatever her feels like to the worthless piece of scum.

We have become a nation of wimps, unable to protect our own kids because we our too worried about the rights of criminal scum.
