My friend and I were both laid off last Friday. I had been with the company for 5 months, he had been with the company for 18 months. Both of us were long-term temporary employees through an employment agency.

I was told by a friend that temps are never eligible for unemployment benefits, but after doing some research, I haven't found any indication if this is accurate or not.

Are temps eligible for unemployment? We are in Minnesota, by the way. Thanks!

I broke up with my ex (Ted) about six weeks ago. My best friend Mike became friends with Ted about a month before the breakup (I introduced them).

It turns out that Mike has feelings for me, and I have feelings for him too. Mike says that he feels too guilty about fooling around with a friend's ex and that we should wait for at least a few months to give Ted time to recover.

I can't stop thinking about Mike now . . . especially now that I know we both have feelings for eachother. How do I survive the next couple of months with him as just a friend? I want to respect his wishes. I also want to bang him every time I see him. Help!
