I am leaving to Japan to be an English teacher in 2 days. In the information packet it is stated that I should bring a souvenir for the students. Here is the exact wording:

"A souvenir from your country that will create an “aha” moment and get the students’ attention (Japanese kids love anything cute! But don’t bring food to distribute — this is not allowed in Japanese schools!)"

What should I bring?

I would like to know how to say "for" as in:

This document is required for my car.

This chair is for my friend's house.

I would like to be able to read the information contained in a database into some type of list (i.e. an array, a datagrid, a datalist, etc.). I would like to then delete individual rows from this list without having it affect the actual database itself. Can someone tell me which container and method would be best suited to this?

Cats (and dogs) are eaten in countries all over the world everyday. This would lead me to believe that they are very delicious. Does anyone know if cats (and dogs) are indeed delicious? If so, what is your favorite recipe?

I recently graduated from college with a B.S. and I'm considering partaking in a program to learn a foreign language overseas this summer. I am wondering what affect, if any, my graduation would have on the amount of financial aid that I am able to receive (loans, scholarships and grants).

Also, I know the program would count towards an undergrad degree, but I am not sure about higher degrees. When applying for FAFSA should I put undergrad, since I am not enrolled in a graduate school?

I’m in interested in the United States government’s stance on a zombie apocalypse. In the event of a zombie apocalypse, if I should be bitten, would Obamacare cover my medical treatments? As a follow-up question, if treatments are not available, would I receive care to improve my quality of life before and after I am consumed by the disease.

I would also like to know if my treatment options will be limited based off of the events leading up to infection. For example would my treatment options be different if I were smoking marijuana and fell asleep in a dark alley and were bitten, versus receiving the disease through an airborne pathogen or through illegal immigration marriages (i.e. causes out of my control). I would also like to know if I would still have to pay federal and state taxes as a zombie, if not I think it would be an excellent time to install solar panels.

I'm trying to run an add a row to a database using visual basic 2010. I'm now using the most basic add command I can think of and it works perfectly fine in SQL Plus.

The command fails with the error:

System.InvalidCastException: conversion from string "AddCriminal" to type 'integer' is not valid. ---> System.FormatException:: Input string was not in a correct format.

When using an embedded object in an office document, does the source program of the object need to be installed to view the object in the file?

For example: When viewing a MS word document with an embedded Access database table object, would the person viewing the file need to have MS Access installed on their machine?

If they do not have the software installed will they still be able to edit the object in the document?

Can someone tell me what this means:

I know it means something is scary, but I'm not sure the meaning of "Honnto"

Obviously something to do with ribbons, I'm not sure what "osoro" is though.
