Know a reliable body shop in Southern California to restore a Classic Car?
Anyone in Southern California that knows of a reliable body shop that specializes in classic car restorations? I ask because a regular body shop will not be as good and will over charge for services since their bread and butter is insurance claims.
1 AnswerMaintenance & Repairs9 years agoWhy don't liberal states create their own Universal Health Care system?
It's clearly possible. California, Oregon, New York, Illinois, etc.. could all create their perfect Utopian Universal Health Care system and take care of their own citizens. If they dislike the increase in taxes and burden, they can move to a neighboring state that doesn't have such high taxation to cover the cost.
12 AnswersPolitics9 years agoDo you really want everyone to vote?
I personally am sick of the "Get out the Vote" campaign by networks like Mtv who encourage uneducated kids to vote. They know nothing but what is spoon fed to them with in a 2 month time span. Would you really want people who are clueless to effect the election?
9 AnswersPolitics9 years agoIf the electoral college is a tie, would you laugh at Romney being President, Biden being Vice President?
Since majority of the house is Republican to pick the President and majority of the senate is Democrat to pick the Vice President.
5 AnswersPolitics9 years agoDo you really want the State to provide you with medical care?
Yeah everyone demonizes the insurance company and that they decide your life. Well guess what, under a universal health care plan your life is decided by the state.
The problem is everyone assumes this current medical system in the US is "free market" when it hardly is. It's free market capitalism with corporate influence of the legal system. So who ever is in the market has to create legal barriers through the FDA, AMA, and other associations to make it harder for competition to enter. Thus the prices are high and not real. If the Government was deregulated and medical care was treated like any other service, then more competition would occur, people will have a direct control of their medical care costs and not need an insurance company. It's not a true free market.
20 AnswersPolitics9 years agoWhy do people care about Mitt Romney's tax records and Obama's birth certificate?
Get a life. They are both irrelevant to their campaigns.
6 AnswersPolitics9 years agoDo you want Universal Healthcare or Quality Healthcare?
You can't have both. By having single payer you increase the demand for doctors since everyone has medical coverage. Yet it doesn't increase the supply of doctors, hospitals or any other part of the service. Causing the service to nose dive and lose the quality it had before. I know it sounds cruel to oppose universal health care and assume everyone should pay for their own, however you do lose quality with over crowded hospitals.
It sounds easy to say everyone has health care coverage, yet we would need to also increase the means of health care coverage like doctors/hospitals/etc...
19 AnswersPolitics9 years agoIs the "Poverty Line" in the United States a joke compared to third world countries?
Would you rather be in "poverty" in the US or in Uganda?
6 AnswersPolitics9 years agoWhy would you want to tax the rich in a weak economy?
Seriously even if you despise or envy the rich. When you tax them higher rates, it's less money in the economy. The wealthy are still consumers and investors in the economy. Isn't it obvious that your employer will have a higher net worth than you?
Getting an approximation of 70 billion in tax revenue from the wealthiest Americans will do what exactly? the Federal Government spends approx 9.8 Billion a day. You will fund the federal government for a week. Congratulations. This also assumes they won't flee the country or declare less income.
15 AnswersPolitics9 years agoWas the DNC convention lacking talk about the economy?
I didn't know healthcare reform, women getting tax payer subsidized abortions, and women getting healthcare providers to give contraception would stimulate the economy. I guess all economists should start valuing these principles. So our economy can revitalize it's self.
6 AnswersPolitics9 years agoRemember when Obama passed Health Care reform as it was aired on CSPAN?
Another campaign promise broken.
9 AnswersPolitics9 years agoCan the Ron Paul questions stop?
I'm a Ron Paul fan myself. However the guy is old and going to step down. He can still be an advocate for real Libertarian ideology. He has his son as well Rand Paul. Maybe he just wants to enjoy his personal life. So stop asking about him running as a third party candidate. He is going to retire.
11 AnswersPolitics9 years agoIf Obama wins a second term, will he just cram through Progressive ideology like his first term?
I think this is a fair question. Obama clearly ignored the economy for his first year and tried to pass health care reform. Which is based on Progressive ideology. Is this going to occur again. He knows this is his last term, so he can work harder to try to pass more Progressive causes.
5 AnswersPolitics9 years agoSimple Question: Who is more selfish?
1. The wealthy individual who works for their money.
2. The welfare recipient who collects government benefits.
Who is selfish the one who pays for the other to exist, or the one who exists to take from others?
(Not a Conservative, Radical Libertarian)
7 AnswersPolitics9 years agoIs the Left's stratagy for calling out on Romney's Taxes a sign of desperation?
Isn't this just as pathetic when the Right demanded Obama's birth certificate?
13 AnswersPolitics9 years agoIs Obamacare going to hurt lower middle class citizens?
People that make too much money to qualify for Obamacare/Medicaid, and don't have enough spare income for health insurance. Forcing them to pay a penalty.
9 AnswersPolitics9 years agoWhere do Progressives draw the line in Federal Mandates and Freedom?
So the Federal Government can mandate that individuals purchase health insurance or face a penalty.
So if Progressives decide owning a home is a human right next to health care, are we all going to be mandated to own a home as well? If owning a car is a human right, should we mandate everyone purchase a GM?
Obviously you're already free to begin with, only a state can take it away. Isn't true freedom the right to enter or not to enter the market?
6 AnswersPolitics9 years agoWhy do socialists only stop at feeling entitled to other people's income?
Why stop at using the Government to take other people's money for your selfish need? Go further, use the Government to take people's GPA's and redistribute it to yours. Take people's attractive spouse and have sex with them against their will. Go beyond taking the fruits of one's labor, take the fruits of one's life in general.
6 AnswersPolitics9 years agoDo you think it's fair for fully able bodied people to collect welfare, if so for how long?
Even if you believe people should receive unemployment insurance, food stamps, housing assistance, etc... How long would you let them have it? Because otherwise you're enabling a poor life style.
