I get bored when I'm supposed to be doing my own masters level work and do school children's maths homework on here. It's strangely relaxing.
Will I get a speeding ticket?
I was driving home from work at 11pm and while driving through a 30mph zone at about 35-40mph I drove past about 6 police officers standing by the side of the road, one of them had some kind of mounted camera pointed at the road towards me. I could see the high vis jackets but couldn't make out the word police on them until I was quite close, I tried to slow down but was only just at 30 as I actually drove past them.
So I guess this is a two part question:
1) Were they checking speed?
-I wasn't sure because it was a fairly quiet road, not known for speeding at 11pm in the dark. There were more of them then I would expect to be checking speeding.
2) Will I get a speeding ticket?
-Can they just send a ticket from mobile ones or do they have to stop you there?
