  • Can I sue for a dog running loose in a leash law community?

My girlfriend and I were riding our dual sport motorcycles down a 2 lane road. I was riding behind her. A dog ran out from beside a house we were passing and tried nipping at my girlfriend's heels but couldn't match her speed. He then tucked behind her bike and directly in front of mine. I had no place to go and completely ran over the dog (Both tires). I went down at about 30mph and the dog got up and ran back to his' house where no one was home. I suffered a bruised hip, road rash, broken helmet, torn armored riding jacket, broken motorcycle GPS and damaged motorcycle. I went back to the house today and found the side gate still open and the dog locked in the garage. He should be easily identifiable with knobbie tire marks over him. This entire area is like this. We have a leash law but people are unwilling to secure their dogs. Animal Control says they are understaffed, blah, blah, blah. Do I have a case?

  • Running copper to monitor stove?

Installing a Monitor MPI 441 direct vent stove in my cabin for more convenient heat source than the wood stove I use now. I purchased a 275gal oil tank that will be gravity fed and am ready for copper and filter however I dont know the different grades of copper tubing to purchase. Stove requires 3/8"O.D but there is type K, L, M, refrigeration and utility. The ID/OD is same. Price is not of concern but which is best. I will be using flared fittings. Any help?

  • Is MCIPE Constructors an employment scam?

They have a website with a brick and mortar building in pic, Atlanta address,866 phone number with a phone tree etc. However when you google earth the address, it is an apartment building. There is no white pages listing for them in Atlanta. Their website has "warning, someone is scamming our legitimate business so beware and only deal through mcipe.com crap all over it which is the same site as above. Then I find I have to pay $27.50 for the study guide for the pre-employment skills test. Someone went through alot of trouble because it looks very convincing. Surely if they were legit with offices all over the US like website says, someone on here must work for them.

  • Are there any sites like Craigslist that are nationwide?

I do use Craigslist often but lately it seems more of a PITA than I desire to deal with. Constant spammers, scam artists etc. I recently advertised an item and mistakenly published my E-mail address. In 3 days I have over 500 spams and unfortunately will have to ditch that address for another. Any help?
