The silent switch on my phone doesn't really work. I will slide it off and it will basically have a panic attack, switching back and forth between silent and normal volume, basically having the phone equivalent of epileptic seizures, vibrating randomly, until I turn the switch back to it's normal position.

This may be a really stupid question, but I was wondering if there was another way to turn it on silent. The lowest volume works in most situations, but the sound of my phone ringing makes me all nervous (not important, I just get nervous a bout social contact and that is what I associate with my phone noises) and I'd like to keep it silent most of the time.

I went to the sound setting and I just can't figure it out.

Will I have to deal with it (getting it fixed isn't really an option right now), or is there something I can do to manually put it on silent.

I was looking through a Facebook pages pictures the other day, reading the comments and stuff, and see that the person has a profile picture that looks like a Sim character. I thought that was kinda interesting, so the Facebook creeper inside of me decided to click their profile. It was a very open profile, and every single person on their friends list (and there was a couple hundred at least), had a different Sim looking character as their picture, and the person I had clicked on had like, forty different profile pictures, all of the same character pretty much. Some had different or shorter hair and the caption would be like "My new hair" or "Rocking this new outfit", and there would be tons of comments from different people, all Sims as well, talking like it was all real. "Looking good." "Sexy" "Looking forward to doing another photo shoot with you" "Had so much fun with you this weekend"

They had whole conversations like the stuff really happened. It was all so real, like there was no actual people, but nobody ever commented like it was fake. I clicked on others profiles and they had other friends. There were like, thousands of these people.

So anyway, my being a Facebook creeper lead me to discover this whole community on Facebook that kind of scares me. I tried to look it up, but I can't find any reference to it online. I was just wondering if anyone else had come across this as well, or if they know what it is, or why they do it....

If anyone knows and can explain it even a little to me, that would be great.

My teacher wasn't here to explain the lesson that day, so she just had the sub show us the note and we had to copy it down.

The sub had no idea what was going on and couldn't help us at all.

I understand most of it, but I have a question on how to do some of the stuff for the homework.

Now, this is just one of the practice problems, not the homework problem, but it is worded the exact same way as the homework so hopefully knowing how to do it will help me.

The problem is:

Find all values if x satisfying the give conditions

f(x)=2x-5, g(x)=x^2-3x+8, and (f o g)(x)=7

It says the answer is 1 and 2, but it doesn't show how to get to the answer.

I'm really confused. Fastest and most helpful answer will get the points.

I'm thinking about trying it, but I don't think I've ever written 50,000 words for a single story before, or in a month either.

Me and my friends are writing a story, and it's up on wattpad. Wattpad has this option where you can assign cast members to the story, so I was wondering anyone can think of a few good actresses for these descriptions (and if you can only think of a few, that's fine)

And by the way they are all teenagers, and are fairly short.

Armide-She has red-orange hair, brown eyes, and pointed features

Rena-She has blonde hair, purple eyes (obviously the actress won't need purple eyes), and she is British

Nyx- Black hair and green eyes

Alikai- She is albino (but a pale actress with light blonde hair will do), and she is Norwegian

Let me start by saying I use Google Chrome. Before, if I typed anything into the bar at the top of the screen (I have no clue what it's called, the thing you type into to go to a website) it would automatically Google search it. But now when I type anything it goes to ask.com and it is really annoying. Does anyone know how I can get it back to how it was originally. By the way I tried just uninstalling Google Chrome and reinstalling it.

I have a character in my story and I have no idea what to name her. All you to do to really know this character is think Snow White. She has the same looks and personality.

I'd like a name that starts with S, but I'm open to other things.

Okay, I've been wondering how rare it is to have eyes like mine. They are constantly changing colors. Most of the time they are this dull grayish green, other times they are pure green, others they are pure grey, others they are blue (never a really deep or light blue though, but definitively blue, other they are brown, and others they are mixed (blue-gray and blue-brown for instance).

Does this happen to any of you, or people you know...

Me and my friend are writing a story together, and we want to see each other's writing styles, so we have decided to both write a short story on the same prompt. Then we exchange stories so we can see each other's writing. The only problem is neither of us can seem to come up with a good short story idea! So any good ideas will be deeply appreciated! I would prefer a fantasy genre btw.

Twins (I have no clue what to name them) who grow up being the best of friends. One day they discover that they discover their true identities (how they discovered it is yet to be determined). They are really not twins at all, one of the girls is really a fallen Angel. She made a big mistake and was punished by having her wings taken away and being sent to Earth. They said she was only allowed to return if she could save Earth from its gradual spiral downwards (not literally but going down in moral and kindness). But her memory was taken away by another, much darker fallen angel, sent to earth for the same task, but has no interest in completing it. He tried to recruit her but she refuse so he took her memory, and changed her into a small baby, placing her with the other girl (who by the way is just a normal mortal) saying they were tins. Still having no memory of the events she brushes it off (but the normal twin isn't so sure), but slowly the memories start coming back, but not to just the angel, to both the twins. They figure out that the dark angel is trying to sabotage everything so they go of to find a way to fix the earth.

So is this okay? It just came to me, and I wanted some opinions. Does it sound like anything you have read before? If so what? It's not some religious thing, they are just angels... so yeah...
