Just got married in September. We both made around $20K each in 2007 (he just graduated college.)

Should we file our taxes as a couple or should we file separately? We were technically "single" for 9 months of 2007 and "married" for only 3.

Any advice?

I've never made the dip before, and I am curious to know how long the Velveeta cheese will stay melted for?

Once melted, is it going to solidify quickly? I'd like to place the dip out on the coffee table during the Super Bowl this weekend, but I'm wondering if it will start to "harden" again as it cools?

I just found out my grandmother passed away last weekend. No one in my family bothered to call me and tell me, and now I will miss the funeral. When I asked, "Well, what is Grandpa going to do now?" imagine my SHOCK and HORROR to find out that my grandfather died 4 MONTHS AGO and NO ONE told me! I am going through so many feelings, including anger with my family for not telling me about all this until it's too late... please, any advice for this ridiculous situation would be most appreciated. I am at a loss as to where to turn, how to feel... I just feel blank.

My company is sending me on a business trip in about 6 weeks. I am terrified to travel by air, and even though the flight is still 6 weeks away, I am consumed by panic. Any advice to make my trip better? Please keep in mind this is a BUSINESS trip, so I won't be able to booze it up or take anxiety pills...
