Kattdance

So, my man wanted me to fill in for the co-ed softball game. I'm a dancer; I'd rather stick a needle in my eye! However, I agreed...if he would accompany me to church next Sunday.

He batted 1st. in the bottom of the 1st. made it to first...took off for second.

"SLIDE!!!!" the crowd yelled.

He was safe...dislocated his wrist...broke his arm...but safe...

So...what about church? should I hold him to it?

and...hmmmm...is this da debbil's way of sayin'...touch not my little ones?????

I picked up two novels from the book swap at work today: Stephen R. Donaldson's, "The Runes of Earth" and Ken Follett's, "The Pillars of the Earth". I read Donaldson's 1st. Chronicles of Thomas Covenant about 20yrs. ago, so I'm excited to see the beginning of the new epic. Follet was highly recommended by a client who reads 200 books per year and stated that this was a phenomenal read.

I went with a close friend of mine to a social gathering, and he told me to watch out for the Hypnotic Island punch. I'm not much of a drinker, so I asked what was in it. He said 7-Up, pineapple juice and Hypnotic. "Oh, is Hypnotic a liqueuer?" , I naively asked. He just about doubled over laughing, and said,

"Naw, rookie, it's a likka!"
