  • Looking for a cheap car to insure for a teenager?

I am 16, and have had my license for a few months. Right now I am driving one of my dads cars, a Honda Element, and it is relatively cheap to insure. This in mind, I need a car of my own because he doesn't want me putting too many miles on it.

I am wanting to buy a used car, relatively cheap (Max. price of $10,000 but I would like to keep it below $8,000 preferably) with low rates of insurance. I really like a 00-01 Jeep Cherokee, but am flexible. I just want a list of some cars with low insurance rates.

Also, don't respond with "nothing is cheap for a 16 year old" because I know that. I am looking for something cheaper than most.

  • What phone should I get, Evo 4G or Evo 3D?

I am a Verizon Wireless customer (awful company) and currently have a Samsung Rogue which I have had for 2 years, maybe more. Needless to say, I want something much better, and I am switching to Sprint in about 3 weeks. I have narrowed my choices down to the Evo 4G, which is $100, or the Evo 3D, which is $200. The Evo 3D specs are outstanding and they pull me towards it, especially the gig of RAM and dual core processor. But is it really worth an extra $100? I also prefer the styling of the Evo 4G and like the screen better, it's less narrow. But I am worried that it may be phased out soon or that it may not support future versions of Android. So, bottom line, I want to know which phone would be best for me. Keep in mind that I currently have a Samsung Rogue, so either one is a huge step up for me, I will be astounded by the features either way. I just don't want something slow or laggy, I get enough of that from my current phone.

Also, anyone who owns or has owned one of these phones, could you please list some of the disadvantages of each phone? I know about all the good features but have not heard much about the drawbacks of either one. Thank you.

  • Is US Cellular strictly a rural carrier?

I am a former Alltel customer and I used to hear about US Cellular very often but I never knew much about it. One day I decided to look into it and realized that it looked almost identical to Alltel, same plans, same phones, they were practically the same. I also noticed that noone I know has US Cellular, except a few people who live out in the country. I live in the city and have never seen a US Cellular store, though according to their website my zip code is not in their service area but another zip code which i live right by the divider line for is in their area. I want their service, but are they just a rural carrier? If not, are they expanding their coverage any time soon?

  • Is T-Mobile expanding their 3G Network?

I have verizon and HATE it and have been seeing all these great phones and plans from other networks which I want and with my contract coming to an end I have a big decision to make. I have decided to go with T-Mobile or Sprint, and as of now I am leaning towards T-Mobile (I just cant resist the Cliq 2) but when talking to people in my area as well as checking coverage I discovered that they don't even offer 3G in my area, and I have heard some bad things about their EDGE network. I was wondering if they are ever going to expand 3G coverage, or if they are just focusing on 4G for now, because I really want the Cliq 2, but I don't want to settle for EDGE if I could get 4G with Sprint.

  • iPod Touch Internet Help Needed?

My iPod Touch 2G, which i have had for almost a year and a half, will not connect to the internet. While in my room, which is far from my router, it often disconnects. This is normal and i usually reconnect within seconds. However about a week ago it asked to enter my password. I have other things connected to my network (i.e. PS3, Wii, and others) and they are still connected. I don't know my password but can try to find it. The strange thing is that it still says its connected, the WiFi signal bar still comes up. When i go to Safari the screen darkens and says connecting. My iPod is jailbroken.

  • Help with Palringo App?

I had the iPhone/iPod touch app "Palringo" and it was great i had it set to keep me signed in as "away" so i could always get important messages and it was fine until I added facebook and when removed it stayed on. After this it was very glitchy. I took the app off but I noticed that i still never go away on my friends' contact lists and its extremely annoying. I checked their website but it was not the least bit helpful. Any help?

  • this is question about local tv and radio?

i have always wondered why all the tv stations in my area (Raleigh-Durham,NC,more specifically Durham) have abbreviations starting with W (ex. WRAL,WTVD,WRAZ,WRDC,WLFL,etc.) and the radio stations are the same (WQSM,WRAL,WDCG,etc.)but when you go to the western part of the country, they start with K.Why is that and what do they stand for?

  • can you get my faves on a t-mobile pre-paid phone?

I have Alltel and have had it for awhile (and I highly reccommend it to anyone), but my contract runs out eventually, and I don't want to get laughed at at school when it runs out for having such an old phone, so i'll probably end up getting a pre-paid phone and I want one with good calling features like that. also, does it work well in north carolina (where I live).
