I have no idea what else to do, I've tried everything from trying to repair windows from the disk to going into the command prompt and trying the backup and recover the windows files. I'm working with windows 7, and everything was moderately manageable until this BSOD boot loop happened. I had been recently infected with a trojan horse dropper.generic.cMII in C:/windows/system32/services. In an effort to fix this after consulting multiple websites, I started windows in safe mode, then ran a full scan with avg. After the scan was completed, I restarted, then these bluescreens began happening. I would completely reformat, but I have some files from school, and I do daily yt videos, and some of the clips I have would be time consuming to recreate. Not to mention the hundreds of gigs in games that I would have to re-download. Is there anyway to extract my info? Plus would It help to know that before this was happening my default drive was C: and in the command prompt now says my drive is D: ? Is windows trying to boot on C: when thats no longer the right drive to boot from? I'm pretty knowledgeable with technology, but when problems get this deep, I get lost. Thanks for any help!

They told us they would be out to provide us internet in 2009. Well it is now 2012 and we still cannot get anything. They came out and updated our lines, and its not like we live " out there" road runner comes halfway down our street and the street itsself is only 2 miles. We live directly across from a middle school whos internet had been updated to road runner. But thats on the other side of the street and apparently in order to "tap" into that will cost 37 thousand dollars, which, quite frankly is absolutely rediculous. Dsl is not available as they went around our street in the 90s for population issues. Well now we have many more people and can get 10 of the 17 required signatures. Does anyone know who i should contact to actually get anything done? Phone calls seem pointless as you allways end up with a "bob" who hates his job. Because sprint 3g is getting sluggish

I've downloaded the day one patch, as if the file wasn't large enough, and now those awful black bars are still wasting my display. The game is bearable and looks fairly good maxed out, and my graphics cards (SLI) aren't the problem. The only problem their may be is my native resolution is 1440x900. But still plays skyrim and batman just fine. Mods anything? thanks

Back in August while building my gaming computer i purchased a EVGA GTX 460 2GB. Now i would like to have another one to run an SLI set up, but when i went back to newegg, they no longer had it. I contacted EVGA and they said that the card is no longer being produced and if i try to sli with any other type (such as Zotac) then I can run into many problems. The only websites that have ANY, the cards are used, broken or $350. If anyone has one, knows anyone that would like to sell their's or knows a good website, please post and let me know.

Ok so i dont think this should be a problem since the latency and timing isnt any different. But I thought i should double check before i went ahead and spend the money. They are the same exact models of ram to the T but what i have is 2x2gb and what im buying is 2x4gb. (G. Skill Ripjaw) Heres the links. I had my second interview, they said they would call for third with GM and if not, they decided to go another direction. About a week and a half passed and a Best Buy employee from the store I applied to came through the drive thru of the restaurant I am currently working at. She said I sounded familiar and said that I was a great candidate and am supposed to get an interview after the hiring manager comes in. So she says just call, and I was told the hiring manager hasn't been in for a while but should be tomorrow, call then. So I call, " Well, they still haven't made it in. They should be here tomorrow, call." This process just keeps repeating, can I just get an answer so I can either move on or apply for another position.

Everytime we call att or get online to check if we can get dsl service we are told it is unavailable. Doesn't help that att customer service is absolutely terrible, but we aren't even that far out out of the city. A friend of mine is even further out and he can receive their service just fine. But I could understand if a friend of mine less that 1800 ft away from my house didnt have dsl but he does (Same street just a curve.) Or that house in the other direction at the same distance didn't have the service. So our house is sitting in a 400 ft section of the street that can't get dsl.I have no idea where the central office is, but if there is service on either side shouldn't they be able to bring it down 400 ft?! I talked to a local technician while i was at work and he said he would give me a call and come out the first of the week. But of course none of that happened. He said that was an odd case but aslong as our lines are updated it shouldn't be a problem. How can i contact att locally to actually DO something about this rather than trying to troubleshoot with someone that questionably lives in this country.

OK, so i applied at best buy Tuesday night and received a phone call an hour later schedualing a interview Wednesday morning. I went to the interview, but could only make it EXACTLY on time due to various reasons. I was dressed very nice, nice black dress pants, shoes and a nice blue button up dress shirt that was slightly unbuttoned near the top with no tie (Casual yet dressy imo. ) I think I sold my self well during the interview, but that's just me, the manager seemed to like me. I think this was one of those situations where the first and second interview was combined. So the only things that would have held me back would be lack of sales experience, not COMPLETE eye contact the entire interview (didn't want it to seem weird though.) Or the fact that I already have a job. Oh, and i did not have a resume, my other employer, Taco Bell, did not require one and I am only 16 and a half. Im a very good student (4.32 GPA) and very friendly. The manager and I maintained common interests throughout the interview and at the end he said he would give me a call to schedual an interview with the general manager or if i dont receive a call, then they decided to go a different direction. It is now Saturday night. I suspect that i did not receive the job, but any experts out there, could it take longer? Or would they have made up their minds by now. I can build a computer and tell you pretty much everything you would need to know about most of the modern technology products. Am i a good candidate? And if i didnt get the job, when will i be able to re-apply. Plus, I know best buy is mainly part-timers, so this job seems perfect for me. Thanks to everyone that answers!
