  • Help! I think I ruined my ganache, is there any way to thicken it up?

I accidentally added 8 cups of cream instead of 5 cups, like the recipe required ( I am making a 5x's batch of ganache) I added any leftover chocolate I had, but I am worried it won't firm up enough to spread on the cake I want to frost. Is there anything I can do to fix it and make it spreadable, like add confectioners sugar? I want it for frosting, not glaze. Thank you for any help!

  • Should I freeze my cookies?

I am making Iced sugar cookies for a baby shower next Sat. Feb.5, I will not have time to make them sooner to that date, since I am baking 2 cakes for Saturday, too. I needed to know if anyone knows if it would be better to freeze the iced cookies till then or would it be better to keep them out in an airtight container?

  • How is 3/4 of a Cup, 5 times?

I know I should already know this, but I really suck at math. I'm baking cookies and I need to know how much 3/4 of a cup is 5 times...I'm quintupling the recipe. I came up with an answer, but I'd just like to be sure I got it correct. Thank you! And yeah,I know, I should of learned this stuff in 3rd grade or whatever...I get it, I'm dumb! :)
