I tried to update my ipod touch to 6.1 and a few minutes later it wasn't really responding so I unplugged it and plugged it back in. About ten minutes after that, my ipod shut off and for the past few hours the screen has been displaying a USB cord and an arrow pointing to the itunes logo. Then my ipod woulnd't show up in itunes and i can't get my ipod to do anything. if i try to turn it off, when i release the button it turns back onto that screen. i have to go somewhere early tomorrow morning and really need it for the trip but my ipod isn't responding and my comuter doesn't recognize it. what do i do?? please help

Whenever I go further into the song (scrolling down the track), when I release the mouse, it goes back to the beginning so I can't cut it but I need it soon
