Can automatic tranny car roll back during a red light on flat road? Need opinions?
The car was stopped at a red light. Then a bus behind rear ended the car but the car felt like it never moved. Bus driver said the car rolled into the back of his bus. Thoughts? Driver of the car got out of the car to check on his car. Bus driver looked frozen like a little kid when committed a bad deed "don't look at me because I didn't do anything". No eye contacts or head movement whatsoever by the bus driver but sitting up straight like a frozen Popsicle. Passenger of the car walked up to the bus and the bus driver had the same look to him until the passenger knocked onto the bus's glass door. Opinions?

3. Mark suspects that his wife has been cheating on him. In order to confirm his suspicions, he leaves work early in order to catch his wife “in the act”. As he suspected, Mark’s wife was in bed with his best friend Brad. Mark threw down his brief case, broke a lamp in the living room, and left the house. The next morning, Mark drove to Brad’s apartment. He took a gun out of the glove compartment, walked up to the door, and when Brad opened it, Mark shot him 3 times. Mark then called the police and stated he had just killed his best friend. He did not attempt to flee, but instead waited for police to arrive.

The point P(9, −4) lies on the curve y = 4/(8 − x).
(a) If Q is the point (x, 4/(8 − x)),use your calculator to find the slope mPQ of the secant line PQ (correct to six decimal places) for the following values of x.
(i) 8.9
(ii) 8.99
(iii) 8.999
(iv) 8.9999
(v) 9.1
(vi) 9.01
(vii) 9.001
(viii) 9.0001
(b) Using the results of part (a), guess the value of the slope m of the tangent line to the curve at
