My friend and I are both 13, I play guitar and sing and she drums, and we really want to form a band. Our goal is to influence people's thinking in a positive way with our music, I write folk and rock

style songs with lyrics which are basically commentaries on events and people and such...since we are only 13, I realize we have plenty of time to develop our skills, and I'm in no hurry. But I'm really wanting to know where good places would be to gig and meet new people our age to maybe a form a band with us? Our other main goal is to bring back the rock and roll that has seemingly died. Some ideas we had to symbolize this interest were that we wear groovy vintage clothes at any gigs, and cover songs by our favourite bands like The Beatles, The Who, The Doors, The Beach Boys, etc.

Any input on any of this is greatly appreciated.

I'm into classic rock and folk, and I'm having an obsession with war-themed and anti-war songs, current favourites being Masters Of War (Dylan), Butchers Tale (Zombies), Sunday Bloody Sunday (U2), The Cruel War (Peter Paul and Mary), Goodbye Blue Sky (Pink Floyd), etc. Please recommend any songs along those lines!

I have about seven really good friends that I know from Instagram. We talk for hours every day and we have facetimed so I know they are who they say they are. We've known each other for between 1 and 6 months, different lengths of time for different friends. Recently I've really been wanting to tell my dad about them, hopefully tonight. Any tips on how to tell him would be great.

I am 13 and almost a month ago I had brown discharge for 3 or 4 days, and yesterday, it started again. I have NOT started my period yet. Could this be it?...

I'm 13, and my "best friend" is 12. We've been friends for almost three years. But I'm really tired of her. She wants to grow up asap, and I'm not immature, but I prefer not to skip out on fun stuff and unlike her I prefer not to apply makeup til I look like a hooker. Her self esteem is extremely low and all she talks about to me and on the app instagram (photo-sharing social network) is how ugly and fat she is but she's pretty and quite skinny. And she calls herself a Christian, she is, but she "hates church" and all she cares about is being 'in the in crowd' whereas I dont care if I'm liked I'm just going to be me. And she "got her heart broken" at 11, which she STILL talks about. I've been having a very depressing month but she doesn't care, all she wants to talk about is herself and her problems. I'm sick of dealing with her but afraid she will become suicidal if I stop talking to her. Please help!!!!!

Mine are: Davey Jones because of his unique voice and cuteness XD. I really like More of the Monkees, but I would probably choose Best of the Monkees as a non-studio album :)
