I’ve liked my guy friend for a while, but he’s been very back and forth with me. He has obvious commitment issues. Recently he texted me asking me to let loose and have some fun with him this summer. He said nothing crazy, just whatever I was comfortable with. I was hesitant for many reasons and told him I didn’t want to get hurt because I’m the type to catch feelings. He then told me maybe catching feelings isn’t a bad thing. He’s not sure how it would turn out, but his feelings on relationships may change because of me. I thought he only meant sex, but that confused me. If you were me would you go for it, or is he just a flirt trying to get what he wants from me?

My friend told me for our friendship it’s best if we remain friends, but I feel like he continues to flirt with me. We were texting until 6am, and he initiated it. He complimented me and then randomly said “have I ever told you I think you’re so cool?” I said no, but thanks lol. Then he said your welcome 😬 with the cringing face. I asked why and he said nothing lol. Later he asked me if I liked anyone and I shut it down just because it’s hard to talk about that with him. I’m so confused by this. Any thought?

I'm college junior. I have a really close friend, who I've liked for a year now. It all started with him getting my number and snap chat and constantly texting and asking me to hang out. Last year we spent all of our time together. I admitted my feelings last spring and he said it would be better for us to remain friends. I was going to move on, but the summer he continued to flirt a lot. One night we got drunk and he ended up staying the night with me. We never talked about it and he would barely talk to be afterwards. School started again and he was going for another girl, Kayla. He broke it off with Kayla about a month later. One night, he had a party at his place and it ended with him and I up together. He was drunk, I was not. He was super touchy and flirty. He texted me after I got home and confessed that he liked me, but he wasn't sure how to go about the situation. We have a lot of mutual friends and he didn't want things to be weird. I was so happy. He said we could talk after I got home from work the next day. He left and drove 2 hours to get to his home and texted me saying he shouldn't have said those things because we were such good friends. When he got back I told him we needed to talk, and he wouldn't make eye contact with me the entire conversation. He said he didn't know how he felt. He said he felt like a douche, but he didn't know.

So i really like my guy friend and he said he just wants to be friends. He flirts with me a lot though. LAst night we both got drunk and we were the only 2 still up.We weren’t super gone, but drunk. He kept holding my hand and touching me. He’d teasingly “hit” me. He kept laying on me and nestling up to my neck. He listened to me babble on about pointless **** like it was the most interesting thing he’s ever heard. We ended up in my room. He layer in my bed and I was on the floor. He grabbed my hand and tried pulling me closer. I asked him where to, hoping he’d say the bed but he said he wasn’t sure but continued to hold on. He got up to give me my bed and i told him he could sit there too. We ended up dozing off and i woke up sleeping next to him. I don’t understand why he would act like this but claim were just friends. MY friend thinks he could like me but is scared to ruin our friendship. Anyone ever been in a similar situation? Any thoughts on why he did all of that?

So long story short, my friends had a party that ended badly. My guy friend, Nate, got pissed off and I was the only one that could calm him down. I got him to go on a walk with me and some other friends. My sober friend, Macie, drove me, Nate and some other friends to get some food. Nate sat next to me in the car and laid his head on my shoulder. At this point he had sobered up a lot. I was surprised, but I really like him so I rested my head on him and he moved so his arm would be closer and more comfortable for me. I told him my head hurt and he massaged my head. He kept leaning down and putting his face near mine. At the end of the drive, he buried his face into the top of my head. He’s given me a lot more signs than this, but it just stood out to me most. I confessed my feelings and he said we should just be friends. Guys, do u act this way with female friends? The next day I mentioned that I was completely sober in the car and he said “wait.. you were sober then?” He seemed surprised

Would u stay up with just a friend all night often?

I thought he was into me considering he would stay up all night with me and we hung out all the time. He was always texting me to do something or go somewhere. I told him I was telling him simply to move on, which was probably a mistake now. I’m not over him at all. He’s continued to stay up with me all night just talking about whatever keeps the conversation going. He goes literally everywhere with me. When I had a panic attack he texted me immediately and asked how he could help. We have a million inside jokes. When we were in the car a week ago, we were both tipsy (not driving of course), and he snuggled up to me. I payed my head on his shoulder the entire ride and he moved his arm so I’d be more comfortable. He let me borrow his jacket and kept leaning down whispering things to me and getting his face close to mine. He remembers everything I tell him, even small details and asks me about my job, family, goals etc. He bought me ice cream and refused to let me pay and knew exactly what flavor I wanted. He holds doors and carried my smoothie because it was cold and my hands were frozen. I like him so much but I can’t figire out whether he feels the same. Sorry this is long, but any opinions?

I’ve had feelings for my guy friend for a couple of months now. I told him a month ago I liked him and we agreed to be friends. He drunkenly told a friend he liked another one of my friends, so I got very upset. I told him I liked him and then told him I just needed to get that out there so I could move on. I’m no where near over him. The more I’m with him the more I like him. He’s literally everything I’ve ever wanted in a guy. Should I tell him I can’t seem to get over him because it turned out he didn’t like my friend Allie? He kissed my friend Sara, but turned her down when she asked him on a date. Does he just not want anything or did I basically shut down any chance when I told him I told him so I could move on? I can’t seem to let him go when I feel like we are perfect for each other.

Ok so i started college back in august and quickly found a close knit group of friends. My best guy friend in the group met another guy and they became the best of friends. I started developing feelings for his friend and started getting closer with him the past couple of months. Lately he’s seemed to take a stronger interest in my life. He started snap chatting me all the time and were each others best friends on snap chat. He asked for my number and texts me randomly. He always talks about things we should do sometime. The other night he texted me apologizing for being an *** to me because he’s been stressed lately. He wasn’t an *** and he only apologized to me despite us having a very close friend group. He always turns to me with funny things first and we pulled an all nighter together the other day. He stayed up with me until 8 am and we just talked literally all night long. He always asks me if I’m coming places, but hasn’t made many physical moves on me. He hugged me the other day and started playfully pushing me around. But other than that, he’s not super touchy. He had a small thing with another friend where they pulled an all nighter and cuddled and made out, but he never tried that with me. I’m just completely confused and I want to ask him, but I’m afraid of how much it’s going to hurt if he rejects me. He told my friend he didn’t like anyone the other day, so that made me more confused. Any ideas or similar experiences? Do u think he’s interested?

When we went ice skating he found me and held my hand to take me further out. He always checks on me to make sure I’m ok and when I️ was super stressed one night he gave me a high five and held his hand there while he gave me a cute pep talk and then proceeded to give me a hug and tell me how great I’d do on my test. When he was drunk and I️ was too, I’d had a rough week and just started crying and lef t the room, he came to find me and asked if I was. I asked him if he meant me and he said of course your amazing Hailee. But my best friend asked him that same night who he liked and he said he was stuck between 2 of my friends. I’m just confused because i thought he might be interested. Any thoughts?

I went to a college orientation thing a few days ago. It was a two day thing with an overnight stay. I'm shy and have a hard time making friends. I met some nice people, but I just felt very out of place. I kinda just feel depressed now because everyone seemed to be making quick friendships. I know my roommate from high school and she's very outgoing. I love hanging out with her, but it was hard because she was running around making friends with everyone. I'm so anxious to start college now because I'm afraid I won't find any friends. I'm a super nice person and a great friend, but people don't really give me much of a chance sometimes. I'm just sad and I don't want to spend my life alone. Any advice for making friends or just getting out of feeling so lonely?

I met this guy at work, he was filling in for my department. He was so sweet. At the end of the night he hugged me. I wasn't sure if it was just being friendly or guys do u do this just to be friendly?

This random guy asked me to sit by him and his friends at work today. He kept asking me questions. I thought he was flirting with me but then he asks if this girl I work with has a boyfriend. He didn't know I worked with her until after we started talking. Why would he call me over if he liked her? Also I work at a large amusement park that's why a lot of ppl don't know each other.

Ok so i am a new lead at six flags. At my first shift yesterday it was very busy and I had to go on till to help out. I've been a cashier for a while, but never had to do paperwork. I started at one location and then had to go do a break at another location. I forgot to get a till report for the second place before returning to the original store. I only sold like $30 worth of stuff in the break place, but does it matter that I forgot to write it down? My till wont be off in money, but will I still get in trouble with cash control and loss prevention? I'm just so paranoid that since I screwed that up I will be fired. It was my first day, we were short some people and it was insanely busy. I'm just stressed now.

I've decided I'm going to a small school fairly close to home. I'm excited for a new experience, but recently I'm getting more nervous. My whole life I've been terrible at making friends. I'm a really nice person, but I'm just not good at small talk. My college started a group message and everyone seems to be getting along and wanting to meet up and stuff. I feel weird throwing myself into the conversation, but I'm worried everyone will have already met before I get there. I'm going to a social event in May and I'm so nervous. Any tips for getting through the initial social stuff with college?

My dog has been crate trained for 2 years (all her life!) but all of a sudden she refuses to go in. She usually sleeps there and goes in when we leave the house. She has always loved her crate and it would be difficult to get her out in the morning because she is so comfy. We put a bed and a toy in there for her. I m stressed because I start school next Thursday (back from spring break) and my mom has to work. We never leave her out because we re afraid she will chew something. Any ideas??? We left for a few days and my brother stayed with her (she loves him!). Is it separation anxiety? We never leave her for very long,malthough we ve been out more the past few days. Any help is much appreciated!

I'm a senior in hs, going to college next year. I've been accepted into 5 freshman admit nursing programs, at good schools. But my heart just isn't really with any of them. I've always wanted to go to the University of Missouri, but the program is so competitive and most don't get in. I'm pretty sure I'm going to a much smaller school, with a wonderful program, but I'm so torn because of how much I've fallen in love with Mizzou. Nurses: would u take the easier route (the program's I'm already guaranteed a spot) or go with my heart and take a risk on getting in?? So many really good, 4.0 students have been denied entry into Mizzou nursing school.
