  • 1jz swap or 2jz TT in a lexus Sc300?

I'm thinking about getting a SC300 as a project car and these are my two choices for swaps. With the 1jz, there is less displacement, but you can easily match the power of a 2j with the right setup. It would cost more to mod the 2jz. Which one would you choose? Also what is the weight difference since the SC is a hefty car.

  • mr2 turbo vs. swapped 240sx project car?

I'm contemplating on another project car once i get my current one fixed. I'm planning to build the motor on whatever car i get. I narrowed myself down to two choices, a 1991-93 mr2 turbo or a 89-93 Nissan 240sx. I like the Mr2, but since its a mid engine car, I'll have to drop the motor to do major engine work. Along with other repairs that could be a PITA. The 240sx with the 1jz swap is cheaper, would be faster, but I"m looking into a car that isn't as common in the import scene. Which would you guys choose?
