My boyfriend of about 6 months, is currently deployed in Afghanistan. Ever since he left, he's been bugging me nonstop about getting him a Mac. A MacBook Pro is over $1000. Not that we go tit for tat with gifts but I send him care packages with not only stuff he needs but small gifts, every month. And of course I went all out for his birthday even though he was deployed. He was here for my birthday and I didn't receive a gift. The only thing I've gotten from him is a promise ring and a build-a-bear. My friend says that it sounds like he just might be trying to take advantage of the fact that I like to do nice things for him but he never returns the favor. I know he'll be disappointed if I don't get him the laptop but I can't help but to think that i'll spend all this money on a laptop for him and I don't get anything in return.

My god mom's birthday is tomorrow and I want to get her a gift. I know it's totally last minute. lol But I don't know what to get her. She's really been like a mother to me and I want to get her something. She appreciates the simple things in life. For example, there is this song that she likes and I found a t-shirt that has some of the lyrics on it. It's really cute and I know she is going to love. But it won't come until the end of the week. So I want to get her something that I can give her on her birthday. She's done a lot for me in my life and I don't think I could ever thank her enough for what's she's done for me. Any suggestions?
