  • How long is Republic Bank taking to transfer refund money?

I went with TaxAct and had fees deducted from my return. I've done this multiple years, and never had any problems, except when there was an error in my return. I was one of the unlucky ones this year who got delayed a week, even though I filed very early.

Wednesday, WMR showed that I was scheduled for deposit on Friday 2/5. This was after two weeks of it showing nothing at all.

I checked at RepublicTaxpayer.com today, and they say they've gotten my refund, deducted their fees, and will transmit to my bank account.

In previous years, when Republic took their fees and transmitted, it would hit my account very shortly after. Usually, it happened overnight, so I'd happily wake up to money in the bank.

Today, though, it's not there yet, and I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing this odd and irritating delay, and how long it'll take to get into my account.

  • Is the IRS Where's My Refund site down again?

I'm one of the unlucky ones whose date switched from 2/3 to 2/10 for dd refund. No money in my account today.

I just went to check status of my return, and I get:

"You may have made a mistake. Please verify your personal tax data."

Triple checked, I entered the information correctly. Is it just me, or is the site still being stupid? I thought they fixed this.
