  • Need help with my HP laptop not running games properly.?

I have a HP - m6 1045dx notebook pc, the laptop has 8gb of ram, a quad core 2.5 Ghz processor, and an intel HD 4000 graphics card. I used to be able to run the game the forest on medium settings at a decent frame rate, but now it won't go passed 9 fps on the lowest possible settings. I went to the website http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri I use this site for most of my games. In my case it said I can't run the game because my graphics card only has 64 mB of dedicated memory. This is true, but the graphics card uses shared memory with the ram, the graphics card can share up to 2 gb of memory with the ram. This would leave me with 6 gb of ram, which is good enough to play most games. I know that there is some ram needed for other processes and services on the computer, but I'd still have a good amount of ram to use. So I think the problem is the graphics card isn't sharing enough memory with the ram. I checked while playing the game and my computer wasn't using all of the ram, so there's more to use, but my computer either isn't sharing enough with the graphics card or just won't use all of it's ram. I need help because this has affected many games which my pc should be able to run perfectly fine. Please Help.

  • Trying to decide between a 1998 toyota camry and a 1999 toyota corolla. Which is the better car?

I've been told that a camry costs more to maintain and repair, is this true?
