What are some themes of the twelfth century Renaissance?
2 AnswersHistory7 years agoWhen reading a novel, why is it important that the reader develops their own opinion of the story?
For example, if you were to read reviews of a book before actually reading it, you may come across hasty assumptions by the writer of the review. But, since you have never read the book before, you delve into the book assuming things that may not necessarily be true. I am trying to think of some reasons that it is important for reviews to be accurate, or to not read reviews before the novel. A specific topic I am thinking of is that if you read reviews beforehand, it may hinder your perception of the book. But, why is it important for the reader to develop their own perception? That is the question that I am having a hard time answering.
4 AnswersBooks & Authors8 years agoHelp understanding Plato's Republic?
Hi, I am having a lot of trouble with Plato's Republic; I don't really understand it. I have to explain how the simile of the divided line, the analogy of the sun, and the allegory of the cave demonstrate his epistemology and metaphysics. I understand the allegory of the cave, but the other two not so much. I can't get a deep understanding the the divided line and the analogy of the sun. Thank you so much for explaining!

1 AnswerHomework Help8 years agoWhat is the name of this project?!!?
Hi, I can't for the life of me remember what the name of this craft is. You buy a kit and it comes with a piece of flexible plastic with a bunch of squares in it. It also comes with a bunch or short pieces of yarn in various color, and a design pattern. Also a tool to help hook and knot the thread through the holes. It makes the design and is just a bunch of colored pieces of yarn knotted. Thank you for your help!
