Why do USA citizens of Mexican descent cheer for Mexico? I understand being proud of your heritage (mine Italian) but I never cheer for Italy when they play the USA. This is my country as it is yours so why do so many people that live here cheer against their country?

Does the term African-American seem a bit offending?

The reason I ask this is because black people have fought in EVERY American war even before the revolution of 1776, 200,000+ black men volunteered for the Union army during the Civil War, and despite segregation millions have bravely fought for this country in every war since then. Countless served in government, helped create industry, created inventions that have benefited all of mankind, became President. Black people have been apart of America as long as any white person but whites are not refered to European-Americans.

Is it time for us all to be considered simply Americans?

I am looking at purchasing a wasr 10 ak47 parts kit, however I have never assembled a rifle from a kit before. According to the seller all numbers match. My question is how difficult is it to assemble an ak from a kit? Is it a simple attach, bolt and screw together project or is it much more than that?

I've got the classic milkshake color in my oil. I can see it on the valve cap and on the dipstick. There is no smoke comming from the exhaust pipe and the vehicle runs fine, however is there a way to determine which gasket may be leaking? Head or intake? Also could it be a cracked block and how would I tell. I'm trying to go with the best repair because I know they are all expensive or should I bite the bullet and replace the engine? Thanks for your help

I have a 20hp mercury 4 stroke that I consistantly run in saltwater. I flush the engine after every trip but was told by a guy at the boat ramp to squirt some dawn dish detergent in while using the "ear muffs" when I flush the engine. He said that this combined with the fresh water will keep the engine even cleaner. Is this true or would the detergent mess up the water pump etc?

I know way back when the internet first took off many people got rich by selling their .com names. Most were to companies that wanted to start a website, now the .xxx craze has started what is the best way to sell a domain name i have purchased? Should I contact the company directly or list it on go daddy or one of the other hosting sites? thanks for any advice.

I hear a lot of people on this forum get mad at Americans for calling the game soccer, but the Australlians are called the SOCCERROOS and refer to the game as soccer and so do the Canadians. These countries already have a version of football though the World version is the best in my opinion why do people get mad at it being called soccer?

Before I get into the question I have to admit that the Gold Cup final was a great game. I am a USA fan but watching Mexico fight back was truly amazing. (Dos Santos' goal was brilliant)Both National teams made a ton of money which is great for development and great for the game in our region. My question is would Mexican fans rather beat the USA every time we meet or win the World Cup? Please think about it before you answer because I am trying to get a feel for the rivalry. I am doing a paper on sports competition for school. Thanks for your help and congrats to Mexico...wait til next time;)

Does anyone know what has happened to Timmy Chandler and why Bradley left him off the roster? Dont tell me something lame like "because he sucks", because the kid is talented and I was wondering if he was injured. Also I am not very impressed with the gold cup roster...no Gomez or Buddle do you think Bradley is going to blow it again?

I grew up with American football and love the game but in the past 5 years I have really lost a passion for it. A game takes 3 hours to play and yet I've only seen 20 minutes of total action. It's scary as an American that soccer, rugby and hockey have really peaked my interest and I find myself watching those games more than football. However i love when football teams are pressed for time and go with the hurry up offense, the game flows better, its exciting and fast paced. Does anyone else feel this way? I bet the game would catch on around the world if we could pick up the pace of how its played.

As a fan of both footballs I love the fact that he is trying out for the MLS. He has been quoted as being humbled by pro soccer players but so would any soccer player that never put on a helmet.Will any hardcore NFL fans watch an MLS game if he makes the Kansas City team?

solar power? Many of my beliefs lean toward the right and some are very conservative, but when the discussion of solar power comes up some of my conservative buddies call it communist. Why is that? The solar industry began here in the USA in the 1950's (though solar power was invented much earlier) it is an American innovation. Every year it becomes more applicable, it makes sense to harness the sun and if your house runs off it then you no longer have to pay the federal tax that they tag onto your electric bill. Are conservatives against it because Obama touts it? or because lefties embrace anything labled "green" (though most green stuff is'nt that helpful) It makes sense everywhere especially for hunting cabins in the middle of nowhere. Just wondering the real reason why die hard Conservatives are against it?

I have a linksys e1000 router and was wondering if a new desktop i saw online is wireless ready or will I have to buy a usb adapter? How can i tell by looking at the desktop specs if it is wireless ready?

Mexico got ripped off by the refs in the World Cup. Had that Argentina player been called offsides I think the game would have played out differently. Anyway would fans sign a petition for at least 1 play review per match to be submitted to FIFA for the next World Cup? The US team got ripped off horribably in the group stage and so did England. Do you think the game needs a goal line camera and 1 play review per game?

I heard the team is being revived. The Club has exhisted for quite a while but a pro team come back is suppose to happen does anyone know when?
