  • Speedbird 038 Crash MAYDAY?

I know how the crash happened but the pilot said "mayday mayday Speedbird Speedbird 95 95"

Why did he say 95 as it wasn't the flight number or the callsign number? Is it a code??? I know a lot about aviation but this has confused me.
