And I really liked it. It was nice and clean, nice body and with a little sratch here or there, nice for a '95. But, it had an am/fm cass. I was told that it would be even more difficult to change that into a cd player, that it was impossible. Is this true? Does it matter?

It does not matter waht kind of deck comes in a vehicle any stock deck can be changed.The only thing you need besides a deck is a dash kit that you can get from wal-mart,k-mart or any auto parts store,you just have to know the make model and year of the car and then install the dash kit and it makes it to wear the deck will fit like new and it will not come out unless you use the special deck keys that the dash kit comes with.Hope this helps.
