How many americans are willing to pick to pick tomatoes, and citrus fruit, pick up trash along our roadways, bale pine straw and the numerous other menial tasks the mexicans perform each day. Jobs that most americans feel they are too good for and who in america will work for the sometimes below minimum wages that the mexicans receive for doing these unwanted jobs. Each day they arrive en-masse and give a full days work for next to nothing in pay.

Well the farmer should pick his crop after all he planted it. Well the trash we have people in prison that could do that, and it would get them out of prison for a while. menial task - we have a lot of unskilled/substance abuse Americans that are rehabbing that need that type of job to get started or felons that can't get a job it could be a fresh start for them Why would we want the Mexicans to work for below minimum wage that is already slave wages
See if we get creative we can help our fellow Americans, I would hate to know I ate fruit that was picked by a person working for slave wages, why would I want that, why would their government and people not care for them
The only people that benefit from the Mexican slaves are the business owners, why would they want their workers that are helping them get rich want them to live a sub-standard life
Wher did you get the idea that that is the only jobs they do? Is it necessary for all these little jobs be done. At what price? Sell American Citizenship when all they care about is a job. If thery cared about more than that, would they not stay a home & do something about that mess they call a country? Why not a regulsted worker program? One that would punish greatly, anyone caught cheating them on their wages, taking bribes from them to get the job & with the understanding that is it shitsville if you get caught here outside of the program. How about employeers that hire with knowlege & out following hire rules, do a little jailtime? Say like a year. Mighjt cost you a little more at dinner time & there might not be a fast food place so close to you antmore, because there are not as many as before. BUt the n what is wron with importing more food from there than we do now? Talk about job creation! O1 Sorry forgot about the claims of so called farmers that say they will give jobs no matter what the law states. I mean hell we might all have to clean our own houses. Could give the kids something to do besides TV. Don't tell me we can't survive. Might come down to survival of the fittest in business, but what did you do before so many of them got here. I know for one the % going to taxes out of my paycheck was a whole lot less. People had more respect for each other, visitors from elsewhere use to be that way. & Congress use to be concerned with the citizens of this country & their problems. Next thing you know Congress will hold dual citizenship so that when they are no longer elgible to run for office here they have a place to continue their careers
You made a point and that is the whole point working below minimum wages and they are being treated unfairly if they are doing those jobs for under minimum wage so how can you justify what you just said the whole point is that americans do not want the jobs because they should be paying minimum wage it is the law that is why illegals should not be doing those jobs either. The whole point is that we want all businesses to pay minimum wage not below minimum wage and they are enslaving the illegals when they do that how can you forget slavery it was done away with a long time ago and I for one am not going to keep condoning it. Anyone who works in America should get minimum wage even the illegals if they are going to work here, how can you even think about paying them less they are human too just because they agree to work for less doesn't make it right. Its not just mexicans out there, theres people from all over the world here, dont you see who picks the strawberries? Im mexican, and i was 13 yrs old when i had to go and work in the fields, ive been here for 17 yrs. Now im a bookkeeper! I dont have nothing against anybody, bad people make our race look bad, we are not the only ones that get welfare, or homeless.
