led zeppelin is the greatest rock band ever.their stuff was deep,had soul and rocked all at the same time.all this commercial shi# today is crap.It all sounds alike and it all says the same thing over and over.Ive been a dj for 20 years and i love all kinds of music but i cant stand the mainstream stuff because it has no soul or substance.but all the stuff that was made from the 80's ,70's and 60's was great. It was all original and the music and words had meaning. I usually play House and Underground Dance in the clubs, but when im jamming at home I'll jam Led Zeppelin's-Presence album ,Houses of the Holy or Zoso.I also jam out to the Beatles -Srg.Peppers..,or White Album.

I do. Who in particular are you talking about? Weirdest thing is that I heard a new band (Modest Mouse, I think) - sounded just like the Beatles. Maybe they are listening to that good music & don't know it.
P.S. I listen to Floyd, the Who, Kinks, Triumph, Rush, etc. as well as a slew of other vintage 70's bands I grew up with. Check out www.933thebone.com & listen online. Great classic rock station!

They do, but those are bands from the 60's and 70's. New music will always be in the spotlight and be more popular, but bands like Led Zepplin and the Beatles will remain legends.

Ummm...pardon me, but I listen to The Beatles all of the time. It's like an obsession; however, I prefer Rammstein and Indochine to them, but The Beatles are my next choice really! And I really do listen to them quite often.
