Why don't people listen to good music anymore; like Led Zeppelin or Beatles?

People still listen to those bands.

The question should be why don't people make good music like they used to!?

led zeppelin is the greatest rock band ever.their stuff was deep,had soul and rocked all at the same time.all this commercial shi# today is crap.It all sounds alike and it all says the same thing over and over.Ive been a dj for 20 years and i love all kinds of music but i cant stand the mainstream stuff because it has no soul or substance.but all the stuff that was made from the 80's ,70's and 60's was great. It was all original and the music and words had meaning. I usually play House and Underground Dance in the clubs, but when im jamming at home I'll jam Led Zeppelin's-Presence album ,Houses of the Holy or Zoso.I also jam out to the Beatles -Srg.Peppers..,or White Album.

I do. Who in particular are you talking about? Weirdest thing is that I heard a new band (Modest Mouse, I think) - sounded just like the Beatles. Maybe they are listening to that good music & don't know it.

They do, but those are bands from the 60's and 70's. New music will always be in the spotlight and be more popular, but bands like Led Zepplin and the Beatles will remain legends.

Ummm...pardon me, but I listen to The Beatles all of the time. It's like an obsession; however, I prefer Rammstein and Indochine to them, but The Beatles are my next choice really! And I really do listen to them quite often.

That's a good question but I think that they are listening to all that garbage that they are presented with. Most new acts today just plain suck and I wish that the musical shift or cycle would hurry the hell up and revert back to just plain rock n roll!

I'm 21 and I listen to Dean Martin, troggs and most of the movies to day the sound tracks are old songs so don't worry lots of people listen to old music they just don't what to admit it

ya i agree. cuz stupid people think its OLD PERSON MUSIC and that its bad. led zeppelin and the beatles are probly the two best bands ever.

people must listen to the older stuff as majority of music now days is remakes of old songs.or i should say the killing of old songs like how they destroyed the doors riders on the storm song by adding rap to it for need 4 speed underground game

Cause they are not 'COOL' enough for them.

But in my oppinion, Led Zeplin and the Beatles etc. Are TOO COOL for them.
