Where is the best place for Dim Sum in Chinatown San Francisco?
We will be traveling to "the City" in July. Where is the best place for Dim Sum in Chinatown San Francisco? It would also be helpful if the staff has some english speaking skills as I do not speak any of the Chinese dialects.

We wont have a car while visiting. So the restaurant needs to be in the City.

they have thousands of listings by location and by cuisine, they also have driving directions, details and coupons for many restaurants.
better than most directories that just give you address and a number, menuserve has the COMPLETE menu to every restaurant listed!
Here are a few great places and the staff speaks English: - Yank Sing (www.yanksing.com)
- City View (http://local.yahoo.com/details?fr=dd-local-tl1&id=21368884&stx=city+view&csz=San+Francisco+CA&ed=y9sy26160SwgsyoF96SciXn_fffp7f_sUIGLX_okVs2UhE7sTvRxM_POfWTe2WIGpaaAk2VKqYRi)
- Koi Palace (www.koipalace.com)
Of the three, my favorite is Koi Palace. However, it's actually in Daly City which is about 20 mins south of San Francisco so you'll need a car. But it is the best dim sum place in all of the bay area. Yank Sing is probably the most convenient, as it's located very close to the Embarcadero/financial district area and the food is very good. Only downside is it's a little pricey. City View gets you the best value for money.
I would recommend getting to any one of these places no later than 11am. Otherwise, be prepared to wait for at least 30 mins to 1 hour even if it's just for 2 people.
Ton Kiang's is the BEST for Hong Kong-style dim sum. It's located at 5821 Geary Blvd near 22nd Ave. Not Chinatown, though it was even voted the best by locals over the ones in Chinatown.
Dol Ho's is located in Chinatown and had excellent dim sum though NO atmosphere. It's very non-descript though if want Chinatown, this is the place to go.It's located at 808 Pacific Avenue and is easy to miss because it looks like a doorway, not a restaurant.
