In Washinton and Oregon the fall, about October is the best time to fish the rivers when salmon are returning to streams to spawn. Or ocean fishing off shore is also good at anytime from sring through fall.

the skeena river system near terrace BC. the chinook or spring salmon start about the second week in july and run through till the end of august. the coho start about the middle of august. all through the july and august you could also get summer run steelhead
