If I have an illustrator file - with images and text - is there some easy way to create HTML out of it?
So using image ready and photoshop the issue is that it makes the whole file into a jpeg and the text gets embedded in the image. any way the text can remain text?

Yes there is an easy way.
You'll need adobe photoshop or adobe imageready. In this programs you can divide your file in several slices and save the whole picture as an HTML.

Im not sure. You cant just have an HTML file though because the pictures that are in the fle need to be stored somewhere. Try file>save as> and then HTML if its there.
