Why do John Skerry and vote_4 never respond to facts?

Of course, we know that both of them do nothing but hurl accusations when they ask questions, but when they receive responses that attempt to address their attempts at questions they thoroughly ignore legitimate responses.

Why do you think that is?

NOTE: This has nothing to do with legitimate conservatives who like a good debate and for whom I have respect.

Obviously newcomers don't know that John Skerry and vote_4... are nicknames of ultra-conservatives on this particular board.

So the person that said it had to do with them being Democrats... Uh, you need to reconsider.

As I mentioned in one of my earlier comments, these two along with some others are looking for opportunities to start the equivalent of a written bar brawl. They are the ones sitting with their buddies, getting drunk off their own statements, ready to punch out the sober voice of reason. Intelligent answers get you a quick insult or a written slap in the face. If your answers are written so well that an insult would make the questioner look really ridiculous, you become a wallflower to them. They will neither respond to you nor acknowledge your existence. Unfortunately, they are not the only ones. I'm not going to name names, but I'm sure if you haven't run into them, you will. And when you do, you will know exactly who I'm talking about.

I like a nice healthy debate as well. If a person can explain to me in a reasonable way why they believe what they believe in an intelligent way, I can respect that even if I disagree with them. I've had excellent conversations with the most conservative people I know. We exchanged ideas and left the conversation at least enlightened, if not convinced. Unfortunately, not everyone thinks this way, as is apparent by the ludicrous, insulting statements disguised as questions written by these people. They don't want real answers. No matter what you say, they will lunge drunkenly at you, pointing fingers, screaming unfounded accusations and insults and not waiting for you to respond before they attempt to punch you.

Isn't it amazing. One cannot get a civil answer or debate going without party rhetoric. Liberal bashing is what the Cons do when they have no legitimate answer. The war Liberals don't care about our men> Please we care more than anyone, we support our troops and are Patriots but because we do not agree with GWB we are devils!! Evil!!! I would back GWB if he was after Osama, if he made the Saudis answer for their people( who flew the planes on 9/11) Now we are not chasing Osama at all!!! But this is OK?? He is the one who organized and plotted 9/11.But the Afghanistan has no oil so. The Conservatives do not want to hear anything that makes sense. They are a sad lot.

There is a bit of a new factor to this forum.

The shock Jock style of Skerry has some grip. I got the best response to the weirdest questions. It makes you wonder. If you play the fool, people jump on the band wagon. Ask a serious ??? and get a smiley face and have a nice day.

Maybe a community will develop out of this.

Simply because they're Democrats... It's pretty simple. They care more about politics and winning elections than they do about America. The modern Democrat doesn't care how many soldiers are killed or if the world were to end, so long as in Bush is hurt in the process.

NOTE: I have no idea what "vote_4" means, but I'm going to assume Al Gore?

Questioner's additional note says:
"John Skerry and vote_4... are nicknames of ultra-conservatives"

So then who are they? John Skerry is a nickname for John Kerry, and has been for sometime, so I don't know when you suddenly decided to change it to someone else, but please fill me as to who it now is

Facts get in the way of political rhetoric. You can not debate on good facts accept to call them tainted (and of course not be able to prove that).

Some are here to to espound disagreement, even hatred I'm saddened to see, and discourse within legitimate ideas and debate.
