He is actually the head of the department I work in, people actually say I do my job better then he...and now I want his job, simple as that! Only that in our company, if he's there, he stays there, as long as the company runs, they don't care why and who is better...so I really need your help!
I know you've probably already done this and if you haven't then you should. Have you tried going to your boss? Did your boss even try to resolve the issue? If so was there a write up done on that person you work with?
Next IF your boss has done nothing to help the situation then YOU should ask to speak to his or her supervisor NOW remember YOU Can't get in trouble for doing this! And if your boss decides to be a jerk and get you in trouble by saying maybe YOU "Are a trouble maker" then take that to his/her superivisor as well.
Most companies have a Confidential Resolution Line where you can call and tell them what's going on and they will try to help you as best they can.
If this person is trying to upset you or what not then I know this will be hard but "Don't play into their game" they are probably just trying to get a rise from you and well they know they can if you have reacted in the past! Right? Right! Next time he comes up to you and try's to start trouble then just go for a walk leave the room hopefully once he realizes he can't get a reaction from you anymore then maybe he'll move on.
Don't be afraid to be labled a "Trouble Maker" so long as this guy stops his crap that is all that should matter NOT the lables associated with helping YOU fix the work place.
It seems that more workplaces need lessons in workplace mediation because there will always be somebody you don't like who works where you do and not every supervisor is going to make you enthusiastic about your job. Unless there is actual wrongful conduct involved, you may need to learn some conflict resolution skills. If there is true harassment, you need to learn how to document and keep records on this person's activities and gather information about the situation and report it at your next opportunity, but do not do it to be vengeful. You may be next in line.
If you really want to get him fired then either talk to your boss about him, or put drugs in his stuff then go have a close frend tell your boss over the phone that he tried to give you and your friend drugs. Or plant something in his car then call the poepoe.
