Basically you can't. That type of information doesn't lend itself to a free service due to the potential value of the information.

The CarFax report will not normally identify if the car has been in an accident unless a salvage title was issued as a result, i.e. the vehicle was totalled.

The absolutely free reverse vin check sites generally provide fake information. To get real information, money will have to be paid. The free searches provide fake information so they can get your email address to send spam.

Stay away from shady reverse vin check sites, most likely you won't get any information after you make the payment. Not to mention you won't get a report and you won't get an answer if you try to call for a refund. Stick with a reputable reverse vin check site like http://www.reversevincheck.net that has been around since 1995.

Many sites are offering free vehicle reports which include accidents reports, but in reality, if you need to download the complete report, you will need to pay for it. Instead of wasting your time trying to find free vin check, spend a few bucks and run your own report for a very cheap price. I got a single report for only $5 from this site http://bit.ly/CHEAPCARFAX
