Does anyone use LimeWire Pro?

If so, is there any setting I need to check for a quick donwload? it looks like takes longer than the basic version....

Hahaha funny thing about Limewire Pro, you can download Limewire Pro on Limewire. You would think that people at Limewire would have a way to protect their own "pay for it" software. I did have Limewire Pro. I didn't need to change any settings, I just downloaded songs like normal and it always told me it was doing it at "Turbo Speed" but it really seemed to download at the same speed it was before...that was the older Limewire Pro, so I'm not sure if there is a new version out or not. what do you mean? takes longer to download LimeWire, or takes longer to download the files?

i don't know, i'd say go for it one way or the next. what is it now, $18 or something like that?

and it DOES give you some benefits. and i've been pleased with the free version for a long, long time. =)

LimeWire Pro is heavier than the basic version, and for some queer reason, I find it to be also slower. Use the basic version and dont bother.

Mae mae, Limewire isn't illegal, music sharing is. Go to Cnet's Download.com and check out all the other P2P software that's out there. You can also try the Torrent type P2P. I use Bearshare once in a while, it works well enough.

With LimeWire Pro it is always better not to run anyother application while downloading, your downloads will be faster this way, & pro will give u the best results.
