What have been your symptoms after being on the pill for a year and coming off of it?

I was on the pill for well over a decade and found I had no symptoms after coming off it. I was on Desogen, also known as Apri. The only difference I noticed was my periods were longer, heavier and less predictable, but I was also on the pill mainly to regulate anyway.
