All drinks go with a certain kind of food. It depends on the heaviness and flavors of the drink, and the heaviness and flavors of the food. If you have a very light, gentle food (like say chicken with lemon and basil) you want a gentle drink to go with it. Otherwise if you had a really heavy drink with strong flavors, you wouldn't taste the chicken at all any more. There has to be a balance.
