Some days there just isn't enough time to cook a big dinner. A crock pot is a great alternative but I have ran out of recipes, LOL. We can't eat the same thing over and over. Anyone have any recipes I could put to good use? Thanks!

Crock pot stewed beef
Dump a package of chopped stew beef in the crock pot. Add a can of cream of mushroom soup and a package of onion soup mix. Cook on low for the day. (I go anywhere from 8 hours to 11 hours) You can serve with rice or mashed potatoes. It makes a great gravy as well.
I like to add string cheese to my bowl before eating.

I love to use the crock pot, because of its convenience too! My favorite recipe is my Beef Stew. INGREDIENTS: 2 Tbs. flour 1 Lb. stew meat, cut bite size 2 Tbs. cooking oil 2 C. vegetable juice (i like V-8) 1 C. water 1 onion, roughly chopped 1 tsp. instant bouillon granules 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/4 tsp. dried marjoram, crushed 1/4 tsp. dried oregano, crushed 1/4 tsp. pepper 16 oz. frozen mixed veggies 3 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
1. Put flour in a large zip-loc bag, add meat and shake to coat. In a large sauce pan and heat 1/2 of oil, and brown half the meat. Repeat with rest of oil and meat. 2. In cooker layer meat on bottom, followed by potatoes, onion, and frozen veggies. 3. Combine vegetable juice, water, bouillon granules, Worcestershire sauce, marjoram, oregano, and 1/4 tsp. pepper in a bowl. Stir to combine. 4. Pour over meat and veggies in crock and cover and cook on low for 10 hrs., or high for 5 hrs. Till meat and veggies are tender. My family loves this with some home made bread bowls... but that is another recipe entirely!:) I hope you try this and enjoy.
