This guideline is a clear warning to paedophiles, who would attempt to "groom" youngsters toward meeting them, or seducing them into email messaging, or otherwise coerce them into looking at offensive material or photographs.
This is a Community site for people from the age of 13 years of age and up. Yahoo!Answers, and the Y!A community at large, has a duty of care to these minors. It is therefore right and proper that this clause should be classed as the most serious violation contained within the Community Guidelines.

it means it is against the rules to expose minors of abusive material such as pics or links..you see, those who do so, do not realize the YAT has established rules, rules that we all must govern by. if someone harms minors of potential abusive pics/links, he/she will suffer the consenquences.. follow the rules, and no problem..we have MANY rule breakers MsKnowItAll, a bit nauseous to think how many there are.

After looking up all the terms in the OED, I reached the conclusion that it could either mean that we're not allowed to conduct mining oporations for, represent in court, or damage a particular Fraciscan nun, or that we're not allowed to take advantage of, make sexual advances towards, or otherwise hurt kids.
